Tradition dictates he be banned just right before a steam sale, but I didn't bother to check.What happened to SalsaShark?
Played it for the first time a couple of months ago. You get used to them after an hour or so.
But then again, I enjoy tank controls so I might not be the most trustworthy judge on the subject.
It went on for a bit too long and the QTE's are absolutely rageworthy but it's still an incredible survival-action game.
Why?
SteamCon seems to be made with twin-stick shooter games in mind...
Meh. I'd at best be a bit more charitable and say that Dishonored is a must play, while Bioshock Infinite is worth checking out and going through once at least but to NOT go in expecting an immersive sim type game. It's the very epitome of my fears with "modernizing" those kinds of games for mainstream appeal, in that things get funneled down and made to service a story over an immersive world you can really get into. FFXIII was the same shit but I half dreaded that coming off of FFX for that team.I personally do, yes.
I wouldn't miss either of them. Both hold a special place in my heart for different reasons and both are amazingly atmospheric.
EDIT: ^ Don't listen to their lies. Shun the non believers!
I haven't kept up with Ubisoft's Season Pass/DLC situation, so I've got some questions in regard to the Assassin's Creed games (Black Flag DLC forward).
It's just 10 bucks. That's less than a decent meal + drinks. It's also a short game, from what I gather, so it wouldn't even add much to anyone's backlog.Why Contradiction never goes on sale? ;_;
these sales suck. rimworld ain't even on discount.

Is Bioshock Infinite even trying to be a modernized attempt at an immersive sim? I never got that sense.Meh. When you hide in the bus the zombies can't see you.
I don't go out at night though.
Is Bastard Bonds fully turn based?
What game?
Picked up The Last Door bundle and played through the first episode. Really good atmosphere, can't wait to dive in deeper.
Aiming and shooting with the analogue pad is just completely off. Maybe it's something with my settings, but a regular controller felt much, much better
That's not how dualsticks designed for two actual sticks play. You're thinking of games designed specifically for mouse aim and I highly doubt Housemarque, being primarily a console dev, had that mindset.That's weird, shouldn't you be using analog for movement and touch pad for aiming (mimicking the kb+m setup)?
Damage so far :
Thinking of buying Rise of the Tomb Raider to test my new PC. Is it a good game?
Why Contradiction never goes on sale? ;_;
The last time I did it (a year or two back) I am certain that I got it digitally.If I buy a Steam gift card on Amazon, do I get the code emailed to me? The language at the top of the page and the checkout process suggest it'll be shipped, but the product description says a code will be emailed.
It's actually a fun (and at times challenging) bejeweled game.My friend is telling me tales of HuniePop. The acheevs are..... fuck is this game? I mean, I thought I knew by "dating sim", but this is weird.
This is weird, GAF.
No, you just buy the Enhanced Edition and it comes with everything except useless weapon packs.So if i want to have Dying Light and The Following expansion, i need to buy "Dying Light: The Following - Enhanced Edition" plus "Dying Light: The Following"? Or "Dying Light: The Following - Enhanced Edition" plus Season Pass? And it looks like Season Pass doesn't even include all the DLCs.
Doesn't sound like a good deal for 2.5 years old game even on sale.

Miss Infinite by all means.Do y'all consider Dishonored and Bioshock Infinite to be unmissable, essential games?
So this: http://store.steampowered.com/app/239140/Dying_Light_The_Following__Enhanced_Edition/
Includes The Following too??
Yeah. It includes everything bar the three item bundles that were released last April.
How often do Souls games go on sale? Would DS3 meet or exceed -60% in autumn or winter?
Match3 with undercooked VN/dating sim bits and fuck scenes. It's fun to play but I wish the dating stuff wasn't such a side part of it. Would have loved to get the porn star and her daughter to make up.
Dev is an ass though I think.
You get bunch of new characters, if that interests you, sure.

Because Ikaruga is not a dualstick shooter and as such doesn't have the type of aiming that's being discussed.I don't think this is true in an absolute sense. If it were, why am I able to S / S++ some ikaruga levels - which is better than I could do with the 360 pad on either stick or dpad
I'm sure it has been on sale or in bundles before since I'm fairly sure that is how I got it. Worth full price if you ask me
