Steam Summer Sales 2012 Thread: we still like you Tony

As a note, the expansion adds a lot of content to The Binding Of Isaac, but also makes it somewhat harder. Since the DLC is only $3 normally, my recommendation is to buy the base game first, play it for a few hours, and see how you feel about it.

So how does buying the Tribes starter pack through Steam work if you've got an account already set up outside of Steam? Do you have to install the Steam version and link the accounts somehow to do so?

First account you sign in to through steam gets the pack, really painless.

Got the Binding of Isaac expansion, the 3 challenge packs for Lara Croft Guardian of Light, and MP3. I think I am more or less set for this sale, already got two cool games I wanted.

I still want the Ys games though (I may pick up the cheapest one), Dead Island, and Two Worlds 2, but I think I'll resist.

Did the issues From Dust had at launch ever get worked out? I recall there being a locked framerate, bad DRM, and terrible mouse and keyboard controls.

I think these issues are still there but it didn't prevent me from enjoying the game. The uPlay stuff was the biggest hassle, and their was some weird mouse sensitivity issues (mostly in the menus), but i still played through all the chapters. I may be biased; i've always enjoyed manipulating the terrain in sim games and that's the core of the gameplay in From Dust.

Yesterday dailies are still up, seems like all daily sales last 36 hours this time aroud, very generous timing.

Is the Casino Nights DLC for Sonic Generations worth picking up?

I don't think it is. It's just a bad pinball table afaik.

From Dust already owned
Binding of Isaac DLC already owned
Sonic Generations DLC already owned
Space Marine DLC already owned

fixed. :p

Is the Binding Of Isaac: Wrath of the Lamb on daily deal too technically? I don't think it will get cheaper than $0.74, but I still want to follow the "Wait for the daily deal." rule.

Looking to join a SF4AE 4-pack as the game isn't available in my region. Have paypal as well.

Ill def facilitate this, but everybody has to have paypal and will have to be patient with me, I wont be home from work until 8-9 hours from now so they won't be able to get it right away.

Glad to see Binding of Isaac go down to that price, definite purchase for me as I still ponder over Crusader Kings.

Do it.

Not sure if I'll bite on the Indie Bundle today. Botanicula & EYE are interesting but the savings is only 69 cents over buying those two alone and I'm not sold on buying either. Other than Isaac the whole day is a bit of a miss for me.
