My lesson if it isn't too late:
I just got Valiant Hearts today thanks to the price error and now I think it would actually be an interesting game to use as part of Social Studies course on the First World War.
The game itself takes place during the war, and several important battles/locations. There is a separate 'facts' section in a menu that covers more information about the related events; and the numerous collectibles all include short descriptions.
Students could choose a topic based on the many separate 'fact sheets' and collectibles, such as the use of dog tags, machine guns, embroidery and other things soldiers made. They could then be asked to write papers, or prepare presentations in groups on these topics.
Some things that were are mentioned briefly could be discussed further in class such as the Hague Convention and prisoners of war, and the conditions away from the front at home, the public opinion and role of propaganda.
Of course, another possible lesson is to compare and contrast the conditions during First World War and more modern warfare.

Hello new thread, I shall call you home and love you like a friend. Until we discard you for a future updated version with slightly better graphics.
Mechanically and combat wise it has it's issues, but overall as an action RPG it offers just a lot to do and plenty to take away from the story that it's easily worth it. Why, you don't even have to play the other games, you can play it and still get a nice Summer Action Sci-Fi feel out of the tale that is complete enough on it's own.

I loved Arkham City and I am enjoying Arkham Origins. Surprisingly Origins runs better then City did for me with everything maxed out. Well worth the money.

I loved them as a Batman fan. Combat is fun. First game where you feel like you really are Batman.
Sadly I have a feeling that this won't be happening

Gonna mix things up a little this time, I will be giving away two of the games depicted in the banner, one per category.
Rules/Gist of things *please read it is important
- There will be several ways to enter, you can either draw a picture (one catagory), do a dramatic reading or write a fanfiction (the ladder two being grouped together).
- The theme for the artwork will be pin-ups of your favorite video game characters. Hint: Mine is Mistral from Metal Gear.
- Yes, I am trying to get you to draw porn for me!
- But seriously if you do go for pin-ups, try to keep it appropriate for this site.
- As for the second category the only requirement is that the fan fictions need to be at least 500 words long, aside from that be creative as you want.
- Like last time please PM me when you post you submission, so I don't miss any. Apologizes for any that I missed last time.
- The deadline is until when ever the timer at the bottom of this post runs out.
- My sister will judge the artwork, while some other guy I know on Steam will judge the fanfics/dramatic readings.
- Sister might live stream the selection for the drawings here, though she's not sure yet.
- Will post who won sometime after the deadline and will gift you your prize through Steam.
EDIT: Also Vulcano's Assistant is banned from this giveaway cause he won last time, though you can still draw a sexy pin-up for me if you want, hint, hint. ;P
