I have to say that my prototype experience was okay at best, I would wait for it to be 5$ before picking it up

Tnx all, I already bought lot of stuff (new rig, yo! even if the inside is a mess of cables ^^) so I think I'll pass on Prototype. Really hoping for a Bulletstorm sale tough.

Yeah, the latest update really fixed a lot of my issues with the game. I'm glad I bought Ultra on release.

Don't forget the GFWL client and its 500 updates when you first run the game. Otherwise, I feel the same way about it so also no Batman or Dark Void Zero for me. IIRC Dark Void Zero is worse as you get 5 activations and no revoke tool.

The thing with some of this DRM is that the activations aren't even the worst part. Some of this stuff like Securom or Tages can actually harm your computer. Although nothing happens to 90 percent of people, Securom has been known to fuck up dvd/blu-ray drives, stop certain programs from functioning, and just mess with the computer in general. They even say on the Securom website that you cant ever remove all of it, some of it will always stay on your computer. That means forever.

Just installed Motionjoy to use my DS3 on some Steam games. Can someone help me with the calibration of the controller? It's asking me to move the Z-axis, X-Rotation, Y-Rotation, Z-Rotation "up and down", what do I do?

Thanks. To be honest I already bought before you responded... Couldn't resist. DAMN YOU, steam! All those little impulse buys sum up to a huge bill at the end of the month.
Anyway, it looks really cool from what I have seen. Looking forward to trying it.

I haven't heard of Securom fucking up DVD drives in years.

Now... starforce, that's another story...

Just use the emulate xbox 360 controller setting.

They say on the Securom website that the newer versions are better but I think older games like Batman AA, Crysis, etc. still have the older versions. I haven't seen a whole lot of games on steam that come with starforce.

Bought GTAIV from amazon last year. So tempted to rebuy it on steam just to have it on steam haha. The version i have somehow deleted my game save :mad:

If I already own Killing Floor and buy the Killing Floor Complete Pack, can I keep the DLC and gift the game to a friend?

I'd give it a vague no. I'm not 100% sure, but you can count on no unless the store page says otherwise.

99.9% of the time, the answer to this will be no.

It would say so on the store page if extra copies were giftable.

I had a lot of fun with it, and I think it is a better game than Infamous. Infamous has the most generic superpowers. Wow, you can shoot lightning bolts! Lame!

Prototype had a much better story, and I liked exploring the city. Finding those random people that had knowledge about the infection and draining them was pretty cool! Upgrading powers in Prototype was much more fulfilling too. Tons of powers to unlock.

I know this all too well. All my RL friends that are on steam are blissfully unaware of the steam sales or don't care. They're more interested playing Counter-strke or some other random game they've been playing for years.

I, on the other hand, have unique gaming content that will last me for years. :)
