Reposting for this page; anyone 2-pack for Portal 2? I'll host it. Let me know ASAP via PM, going to be leaving for a majority of the day soon.

This is the last day, right? Tomorrow will just be a recap.

Anyway nothing for me i guess.
Portal 2 i'll wait a bit more, afterall i still have to finish Portal 1 (motion sickness).
Might get Dead Space 2 but it's a bit too much, considering i have to get other stuff that didn't went into the daily deals (and i have to finish DS1, too).

Already got all the hitman and the PoPs.

never left the stone age
Well that was easy. Only must buy was Just Cause 2. Ended up with Risen as well. I don't regret a thing!

You are a quantitatively terrible person if you don't buy Terraria at $2.50. Hell, a 4-pack evens out to $1.87 a person. Worth many, many times more than that and the developers are constantly updating it, quashing bugs and adding more content and features. I paid full price and I do not regret it one bit.

Portal 2 is also a steal for you crazies who didn't already have it, though you may have been able to get it cheaper at retail a few times.

Whats all this talk about Terraria? Should I pick it up? Also can someone please help me, I posted earlier about a problem with Mass Effect and no one answered. "I bought Mass Effect 1 and im having a problem launching it. I click to play and it shows up as a black screen then nothing happens. I alt-tab out and it says "failed to enter entrymenu" or something along those lines." I have no idea what to do."

Dumbed down from the first one in possibly every single game. The pinnacle of "consolification". Don't buy!, Buy either the first or the many other good RTS available on PC.

Which for noobs, it's still really complex. But the battles are really cool. So it might just be for them. Assuming, of course, they want to get over the steep learning curve which there still is.

The hardcore RTS crowd hates it, but it doesn't mean it's a bad game if you're looking for something with awesome battles and a *slightly* less intimidating learning curve.

Raise your limit. Do it. The achievement for completing the game hasn't "That just happend" as a description for now reason.
On normal circumstances I would :p (gaf hivemind is too strong!) but I'm really tight on money. To be honest, I should have spent zero dollars on this sale haha. I'm actually still contemplating Terraria. Anyone doing a 4-pack for Terraria? It comes out to $1.87-$1.88 per person.

Terraria is going to get a LOT of sales at this price.

It deserves them. Fantastic game. Hell it deserves to sell well at it's usual price but -75%.. hopefully it sells by the bucket load.

First, if you like RTS and have any questions BUY SUPREME COMMANDER 2.

The last patches for the game made it LOADS better, much closer to the first one now then the consolfied version that shipped at launch. This is one of my favorite RTS and I've put more than 120 hours into it easily. The DLC is also outstanding and for $3 extra should be a no-brainier. It is also an outstanding multiplayer game, and co-op (ie: comp stomp) is a ton of fun in Skirmish. If you have any interest in RTS, don't pass this game up.

Now, a question from me:

This is the last day of the steam sale right? So it's now "safe" to buy stuff that's just on general sale (like Majesty 2 and Drakensang) because tomorrow is just a "wrap up" day right?

I think after the awesome last few winter/summer sales, this one was pretty disappointing overall :/ I really missed the Indie packs and my motivation to complete the ticket thing was near zero (zero after i got the glasses).

NWN2 is a crappy game but I've heard only good comments on the expansion Mask of the Betrayer.

I'm wondering if it is worth it to buy the whole package having already the original game on disk

Let me show you through these halls, my friend, where treasures of indie gaming await...

Terraria is a 2d minecraft with more "game" elements. If that sounds even reasonably interesting for you, pick it up.

And people who havent played should stop bashing it. Its a great game, and it may not be to your tastes, which doesnt make it immediately bad.

I'll host a 4-pack for Terraria if anyone is interested. One copy for me and one for my g/f, so that leaves 2 extra copies. Quote me then PM so I know who laid claim first.

And there we go, the one I was waiting for.
Portal 2 bought!

Patience is a virtue when it comes to Steam Sales, but this pretty much uses all but small change of the rest of my Steam Sale budget. €3 left. Not a bad haul this time.

Buy Supreme Commander 2!!

It´s totally worth it. They have simplified things from the first game, but it´s still a very good and enjoyable game.

Guys, is today the last day of the sale ? I see everyone going berserk but on the steam page it says that the 10th is the last day. What gives ?

SC2 has a metacritic of 77. Should I get it?
I would say so. It gets a lot of hate for being simplified and scaled-down compared to the original game, but I had a lot of fun with the SP and some MP. It's a nicely polished game with low hardware reqs and some epicly huge battles even if not to the scale of the original.

That price is a steal just to play Mask of the Betrayer. I would gladly fork over 50 bucks just for that expansion. It's one of the best WRPGs in recent years.
