What's up with people recently discovered the term 'slop' and using it for anything they don't like?

I don't like most AI-generated content, too, but good luck boycotting a thing just because of that. Then again gamer cunts would boycott something when even one pixel isn't at the right place.
Slop is the new top trendy word right after Toxic and before that was gas lighting.

People can't come up with a vocabulary of their own so they latch onto these trend words and use it for everything wether it makes sense or not.

It's a shame AI voice acting wasn't around when the original Resident Evil was made. The english dub would have benefited massively ...
There was no English dub, it was the only language.

And no, the ridiculously cheesy and awkward voice work is more iconic and memorable than the game itself.

When you can't admit problem with voice acting, you resort to playing politics.

It's called metaphor, you stooge.

Besides, human rights being reduced to team sport by politics is not my problem.

Anywho, back to my point, your posting a piss-poor example of VA is in the very same bad faith form of counterargument known as strawmanning.

So this game released 6 hours ago, but only got a peak ccu of 400 people.
So it beat Concord. But asides from that, its probably a flop.

If AI voices are good i'm not against using them, after all the first computer's used AI voices back in the day when it was nerdy lol and if it make games easier to make and saves money, why not.

I mean, a niche/indie title that had some negative "press" around it, mixed demo feelings, that costs almost 40 euros for 5 hours, releasing near Hell is Us, Cronos, fucking Silksong which is also an indie and its priced at 20 bucks??? Kinda shot themselves in the foot with this one. It'll be 5 bucks by the end of the year so Ill bite then.

I bet big publishers are scared absolutely shitless of tiny devs leveraging AI. I'm calling shenanigans.

Bullying tiny devs into not using these tools is fucking weak.

I believe most creatives worth a shit would get pro VA the second they can afford to. There's validity and prestige tied to having real voice actors, tiny devs using AI just makes real VA more valuable, not less.
