Stellar Blade’s Nier: Automata DLC, Photo Mode launch Nov 20 (NieR DLC is paid, while the photomode and Eve's new costumes are free)

I'm happy for those that are happy with this but I've already finished the game (one trophy left from 100%) and 10 bucks for what amounts to 3-4 skins...yeah.

The problem that I have with this game is that I don't find it to be replayable (in contrast to, say, a Ninja Gaiden/DMC game) since it's pretty friggin' huge and there's just no reason for me to revisit it/do everything again from the start.

I'm going to be all in though for the upcoming 2025 story DLC.

I find this pretty insulting. We're supposed to pay for cosmetics? I was expecting some additional content, especially as Stellar Blade tries to ape Automata so much (and fails spectacularly in that regard).

3D scanning incredibly hot women is doing god's work. They will be very grateful in the year 4000 when they unearth this data.

It's possible that there are more DLC next year since this one is labeled DLC1. I hope the next DLC will be new locales, new enemies, and new locations, and additional side story.

The DLC will always be skin and costumes. At very good price too I might add.

If you want new story and characters and enemies and quest, then wait for the sequel.

Have in mind that the wastelands and Desert areas are completely optional areas, and you dont need to do any quests there to advance the story. During my 1st 2 runs i spent alot of time in theses areas to do side quests, explore, collect the outfits and alternate outfits, for my 3rd run i just skiped these areas enterily and its pretty fast to go from start to finish especially in NG+ when you already equipped with powerfull abilities. In NG+ you also unlock new fighting abilities so the game offer alot of replay value not only in collectibles, but also in abilities and diferent endings.

This is not true the wasteland and the Great desert are not optional areas and both feature a story mission that the player has to complete to advance the story.

In the wasteland you have to complete the story mission.
Altess Levoire

In the great desert you have to complete the story mission.
Abyss Levoire

Those missions do not take place in the Wastelands and Desert, you just have to cross the wastelands and the desert to enter those locations that have the same name you just mentioned.

Pretty much all mandatory story stages are linear stages. The 2 big open world areas are optional (You still need to cross them on foot to reach the next story location).
Thers also a 3rd optional location that can be missed.

IMO it's not optional if you have to use / cross it.

EIDOS 9 is optional, desert and wasteland are not.
