Klay is the second best player in the series, Chris Paul is the second best player...
Everybody keeps misspelling Austin Rivers.

I think people are sleeping on how good this GS team really is. I think they still beat the current incarnation of the Clippers, though not easily. Most teams would kill to have Livingston/Barbosa combo as their backup PGs. Klay is still the best player on the court in that hypothetical matchup.
Are people saying Clippers will beat the Warriors now?
Where's the MJ laughing gif when you need it?
Klay better than Chris Paul?
He is a nice backup option for that matchup. Paul's physicality won't be much of a factor for Livingston with the size advantage and he can post him up. And our switching on the perimeter is even more lethal. Klay, Iguodala and Livingston has to be one of the better defensive trios in the entire league.Livingston is gonna bother the crap out of Paul...that could be the difference in that series
And Livingston will post up on Paul and Reddick alllll day.
Think about it....Paul and Reddick vs Klay and Livingston , lol...those are big ass guards they have to deal with
Yeah, CP 3 is still really really good. He's an asshole, but he's really good.
I wouldn't risk him over a single season.
So maybe there's something to the ankle thing?Tim Grover said:...Remember, before Sundays knee injury, Curry missed the preceding game with an ankle sprain. I know everyone is looking at the replay of the knee sprain and saying, It was just one of those things. But in this case, if you really look at how he tweaked the ankle, youll understand that it wasnt just a slip. Without a doubt, that weakened ankle contributed to the knee sprain; when he slipped on the court, the ankle instability couldnt help protect the knee. The entire body is a chain: one rusty link puts extra stress on the other links and weakens the entire chain.
Curry was wearing an ankle brace when the knee injury occurred, and its a reasonable bet that the brace jeopardized the knee. Why? Because while the ankle is immobilized, what's the next point of vulnerability? The knee. The stress moves right up the chain.
Klay better than Chris Paul?
Looks like Chris Paul broke his hand tonight and will be out for the playoffs so this changes things.
Didn't see this posted. Sprain my knee if old.

An OKC beat writer already tweeted "the Warriors stay lucky."WARRIORS GETTING IT EASY AGAIN
ANOTHER ASTERISK WITH THEIR RING

And Durant would probably still be there next year..Too bad, so sad. Karma is a bitch says the Pelicans fan haha.Thunder holding onto the 3 seed is huge now. Warriors would probably be done next round if OKC had dropped to 4.

Eh. Not sure how the Paul injury helps as I think the Blazers will win that series with Paul out and Griffin hobbled.
Full strength Blazers v. Warriors without Curry is advantage Blazers...by a lot. Think they win in 5-6 games. If Curry can come back by game 5 and play to his normal standards then that would change things.

It helps because a healthy Clippers team is better than the Blazers.
I agree but I guess I'm saying it doesn't matter either way...think warriors can't do it without Curry against either.
This is pretty much all that matters. If curry can't go once game 4 or 5 of the second round starts, Spurs getting that easy ring.Spurs are all like:

Chris Paul broke his hand? Which teammate did he punch?
duke blue devil gerald henderson
This is true. More so the players than Kerr. They can get too relaxed and just start turning it over like crazy. Was our big weakness this year.Where Blazers can keep up is if they force turnovers. Sometimes I feel like Kerr is on autopilot or just goes with the flow because he feels the team is so good. A well coached team like the Blazers that doesn't relax can make things happen if that goes down. I don't think Kerr would let that happen in the playoffs.

I don't think they would have gone to the finals, but it makes the next round a whole lot easier for Warriors or Rockets. Doubly so if Blake is injured.Does it, though? CP3 has never made it past the second round. It's not like we're talking about a perennial winner getting knocked out for the playoffs. The Clippers were going to go out like dogs with or without CP3.
