Note that there IS an NBA thread up top. And almost after 50 years, a Canadian wins the MVP title. Bravo, about damn time, since a Canadian supposedly invented the sport. Yet it took 50 years for someone to win. And, of course, the Canadian contingent just HAS to mention it because their inferiority complex won't allow them to just mention how great of a PLAYER he was by helping his team average over 110 points a game.
Nigeria didn't go this insane when Hakeem Olajuwon won the MVP award in 1994. But I'll let you have your moment. Soon, you'll be reminded about how great your sport "hockey" is when it is locked out for 2006, and how the Canadian Football League level of play is worse than the Arena Football League.
BTW, you do know Steve Nash is not a native-Canadian?
