Hey, guys. Finished watching Season 2 on Hulu, and now I have no idea how to watch the rest of the show. I don't have cable TV. What do I do? Is there some other service to sign up with where I can catch up?

Really, though, is there a way I can watch Season 3 and 4? There are no further episodes on Hulu.

Can't be helped. CN (or Hulu) has been notoriously slow getting these episodes out on the service. If you absolutely have to get them, there's always purchasing the episode sets from iTunes/Google Play store/Amazon. Of course other methods exist but per gaf protocol we're not allowed to talk or link about such things here.

Are you guys nutty? He doesn't care about some 11 minute cartoon.

hmmm?

it's quite possible that with a Republican domination of all the branches of government that they work on putting new regulations on television, likely including banning "pushing of the gay agenda"

aka it would likely end up a lot like the censored version we have already seen.

that being said that feels more like a year 3 or 4 thing rather than a year 1 thing... so... SU will likely be safe as I imagine it will be ending in 2 years.

Has anyone considered the possibility that Lion is a Gem that basically went through the same process Centi did in Monster Reunion? She could never be healed fully, but was "domesticated" by Rose after she spent some time learning to understand those lions in the desert.

I honestly don't think trump is going to care about some cartoon as shitty as this situation is.

It would be very weird if Trump signed off on the "cancel SJW cartoons bill" lol

That being said his presidency has encouraged people to voice some unsavory opinions (not that they didn't already have them). I wouldn't be surprised to see more complaining about "sjw" elements of cartoons or desires to see "anti-pc" cartoons (more than usual with this being the internet and all)

Well, Rose did say that she would give up *half* her physical form to create Steven. Maybe Lion is her other half?

Nobody is saying that Trump is going to target Steven Universe. What they're saying is that with republicans in power, culture shifts. Look at Rupaul's fame in the 90s falling drastically during the Bush administration and then drag gaining popularity during the Obama administration

I don't think we have anything to worry about (at least in this regard). I doubt politicians give a shit about what TV shows we like.

Our VP once wrote a post claiming that Mulan was liberal feminist propaganda. Our same VP that believes in electrocuting queer children until they turn straight.

It's time to let go, bud.

Y'see, these are the kinds of things I want to argue!

We're not seeing Jasper soon, but she's coming back. She wasn't just some arc villain that wanted to create an army; the S3 finale episodes did nothing but show her history, motivation, and overall significance to Homeworld. Plus, as Exterminieren said, she's the first character to turn corrupted, and saving corrupted gems seems to be the end-game. This isn't the kind of show to off a character, let alone off a character then make them more relevant posthumously.

On top of that, she's featured prominently in promo materials including the past 2 Comic Con posters, and the fanzine at NYCC had a Crewniverse-made comic of Peridot reviewing Camp Pining Hearts. Not only do Peridot, Lapis, and Jasper parallel CPH's love triangle, but Peridot's review of each season read like a review of each season of SU, right up until
one camper being a werewolf in S4. IIRC, this camper is the Jasper parallel, and Earthlings featured a half-corrupted Jasper that was too big a deal to job like she did
. That definitely seemed like they were more focused on building something new than wrapping the "Jasper Army" story up.

I don't think you read what I put. Nobody is saying that politicians will be targeting cartoons, that is ridiculous. As I said, with republicans in power, culture shifts and becomes more conservative. It happened with the Bush and Reagan administration, and it could likely happen again.

What would a week with a new episode premiering be without a bout of leaks to whet (some would say ruin) the appetite? Fortunately the screenshots in the wild spoils hardly anything, except we get a good look at
a new human character
. No real surprises.

After listening to "What Can I Do For You?" I am curious if Rainbow Quartz would come out if Steven fused with Pearl. This also brought up some odd questions. In this show fusion is the equivalent of sex, right? Doesn't that make Smokey Quartz kinda incesty?

Fusion is a metaphor for personal relationships more than the physical act of sex. All the fusions in the show demonstrate how different characters work, or don't work, in some form of relationship. Like Jasper and Lapis having an abusive one.

So...how big of an episode are we think this is going to be? We know it's a half hour special, with the only comparable episode in size being Bismuth. However the overall premise of the episode doesn't seem to suggest anything incredible to happen.
