It's really interesting how season 4's theme so far has been that there's not really a clear-cut arc for any of the stuff going on at the moment. Even in Mindful Education where it ended with Stevonnie stable enough to float safely to the ground, the credits music immediately, well... discredits the idea that Steven was just instantly "over" everything. He's still clearly got a lot going on, like with his outburst and (deservedly) being upset with the CGs still keeping him in the dark about things during Steven's Dream, and then him breaking down and crying in two of the episodes on top of that.

Starting to feel worried that steven universe is ending soon. Including the leaked bomb, we have 42 known episodes left. 38 aired last year. If no other season is announced soon and they do another summer of steven, the show could potentially end this year. I hope thats not the case but if they were going to do another season you'd think they would announce something by now.

They like to keep their fans in suspense is all. It's one of CN's most popular and marketable shows so Ono way will it end anytime soon. Only way it would end is if Rebecca feels that she told the story she wanted to tell and even then it might still continue without her.

I would agree but with regular show and adventure time ending I think this may be part of a larger strategy at CN to move on to a new era of cartoons. I do think Rebecca will get a proper ending regardless, just maybe sooner than it could have been.

Is there any credence to the show ending soon, the overall story moves slow and it's one of their more popular show.

While CN and nick scheduling makes sense from their perspective i guess i wish it had more consistent schedule from shows that come from these network i sometimes miss episodes because of stuff like that.

Regardless of whether they get renewed for more seasons after season 5, we know Rebecca is going to go all out:

Expect everything more or less vital plot-wise to get tied up.

That sounds good and I honestly wouldn't mind the show ending after season 5 if they warp everything up, too many shows get run into the ground because no one knows when to stop.

regular show and adventure time are ending because shows like steven universe exist.

i mean maybe this will be it, but it's more likely that SU will end up going 8-10 seasons.

I mean if it ends this year it would end before adventure time o.O

Sugar pretty much confirmed the show would have three seasons (five with the current format) and that would be it.

if it does it does, I wouldn't mind it being done after 5 if it has a complete story.

that being said, other comments such as ones posted earlier on this page in fact, and marketing would make me feel far safer about betting on more than 5 seasons then i would that it doesn't get picked up for some more.

I mean, they could just Korra the thing and move on to a new story.

I don't know if I can stomach that Steven Universe is probably ending soon (if it's season 5). I have a really really hard time completing cartoons and anime I'm interested in. Hell took me 5 years just to watch the last episode of Tenchi Universe and after that I felt a bit hollow inside :/

we will see, i mean either way we have lots of good stuff ahead.

you just have to find other things to watch.

due to the last SU hiatus I picked up a few shows.
Star vs the forces of evil isn't bad.
loud house is a solid slice of life cartoon.
I mean bravest warriors just came back so that is fun.
adventure time is actually decent again so that's nice.

Friday February 10? Zap2it lists the newly discovered episode titles as airing on the 16th and 23rd respectively, both Thursdays. Did they skip a week or are they not up-to-date on CN's airing schedule? And that article doesn't list where they got that info from to begin with. I demand answers.
Information is all over the place.

Nothing for "Adventures in Light Distortion"? Did they forget it was airing the same day?

.B+.

Hey everyone, sorry for taking so long with this one! I’d scheduled it for today because I thought that was when the episode aired—somehow I’d missed it was airing with “Steven’s Dream.” The review for “Gem Heist” will be up at the usual time today.

That's still a relatively great score all things considered, if my kid came home with that on their test they'd get a big old bowl of ice cream or somethin'.

I'd definitely score "Gem Heist" way higher though because even after watching it over 3 times this month I really love it.
It's just so exciting to see more homeworld gems while also learning about their culture without it being filtered through Garnet or Pearl.

I was kind of surprised that agates are considered quartz types in SU.
I definitely thought we'd be getting another situation where ruby and sapphire are corundum in our reality, but distinct gem types in SU's world.

Holly's design is really awesome though.
I love the prissy-looking cone hair and high heel boots. ❤️

Omg I hate this shit

I got so into it and then it ends like that. Then they show repeat. I thought it was continuing where it was left off
