Vision, innovation, passion, your own money and reputation on the line are huge drivers of success. For better or worse by comparison governments are group think yes men with zero risk where entrepreneurs and a free market are out of the box leaders of industry, technology and personal risk vs reward delivering magnitudes of efficacy. Governments are faceless and take no personal responsibility or liability where entrepreneurs push the boundaries, there are far more failures in the latter that never see the spotlight either. Governments with success or failure keep on trucking regardless.

I'll take a solid leader over a drive by committee any day of the week. I'll also back anyone willing to step outside their comfort zone or challenge the group think every time.

Fuck NASA and the USA government with regard to space, greedy AF and of course driven by the worst capitalism has enabled throughout government and private industry, so called, leaders.
