"Streamer" "shows off" "Nintendo Switch" live on stream.

That's so obviously fake
4 days before release? Sure.
4 weeks before release? It's possible.
4 months before release? No way.

it's fake

and besides why would nintendo even send him one, like the dude put nigga on one of his thumb nails recently

anyway i hope nintendo exposes his ass, he is doing this just for fucking views cause thats the kinda guy he is

I'll never understand why people give Etika their attention and money so that he can act like he's got mental problems in front of a live audience.

The Switch never being turned on makes me believe it's real, because it's that much closer to the normal Nintendo console experience.

Day -4 months

No way this is real. Nintendo, the company that has kept Switch a secret until they announced it, wouldn't let some dude get his hands on it. Besides, I'm sure this guy is just looking for more subs or whatever by showing whatever he's holding.

Wonder how many subs/bits/donations he got from this today.

Tons of reasons to fake it and pretty much no reason to believe he'd have something like this 4 months before release.

This kind of dumb shit happens simply because of Nintendo's unwillingness to properly a reveal a fucking product that's 4 months away from coming out.

In the video he actually slides the joycons onto the grip which would be very difficult and very impressive if it was a simple 3D print.

What's the point of having a dummy console?

I guess it could be that he's doing it to fool people into subscribing and donating money. Which is extremely shitty.

The materials/design elements/finish reminds me of the first DS design. That protruded '-' and '+' and those buttons look gnarly. Black details on a gray plastic base doesn't look too hot.

Why I unable to determine every element of human experience as either real or fiction?! The world is just full of fake news, objects, experiences, politicians...

Etika posted this on Twitter a few days ago. The tweet is gone but I saved this:

That's too good to be 3D printed. Maybe he got hold of the version used for the trailer/promo? Weren't those just empty shells?

You know its fake because the screen isn't flush with the casing. It sticks out, and the video as well as the official press release show it to be flush/slightly lower than the casing.

As much as I wish this was real, it's definitely fake. It's a pretty decent fake though.
