thank you! lol
How do you know that?
My opinion on timed/console exclusives hasn't changed. I only really think they are acceptable if the game wasn't going to be made unless the party benefiting from exclusivity put up the cash to make it happen.
nah to this whole post
People who are street fighter/FG fans are hyped for the game. We can all easily tell its obviously a new game. Its like, no question about it.
Looks like Ultra on PC? lol no way man.
lmfao, I'm way late here but what's the source on this? Looks hilarious even without the SFV joke.
We are both wrong. Just dug it out. I have Street figher 2 - The World Warrior. This is not the turbo edition [ie it is slower, and you can't play as bison sagat, balrog or vega]

The Haduken Cabs came true.
Crash confirmed I guess.
Or are people just genuinely happy that Street Fighter V is being made after Ono and other Capcom staff said that there was no budget for it?
How is Crash confirmed?
I really hope people are not seriously believing this.
Street Fighter V? Sony got the best street fighter confirmed

That traffic sign Crash one was also in the same commercial
i couldn't be more excited that some people won't be able to play this game.
Those two were essentially exclusive in name only, as each cartridge had BOTH games on it. It's just that Champion Edition was emphasized on Genesis, while Turbo Hyper Fighting was emphasized on SNES (I think they might have some exclusive modes though). I'm surprised this isn't more widely recognized.Just realized and confirmed SF exclusivity is nothing new.
Street Fighter was exclusive to the Turbografx CD.
Street Fighter II was exclusive to the Super Nintendo.
Street Fighter II CE was exclusive to the Turbografx.
Street Fighter II Special CE was exclusive to the Sega Genesis.
Street Fighter II Turbo was exclusive to the Super Nintendo.
Super Street Fighter II was the first cross platform, and came out for both the Super Nintendo and Genesis.
Super Street Fighter II Turbo was exclusive to the 3DO.
Street Fighter Alpha was the second to be cross platform, and came out for both the Playstation and Saturn.
Street Fighter Alpha 2 was the third to be cross platform, and came out for both the Playstation and Saturn.
Street Fighter Alpha 3 was the fourth to be cross platform, and came out for both the Playstation and Saturn (Japan) and Dreamcast (US and Japan).
Street Fighter III (all versions) was exclusive to the Sega Dreamcast.
Super Street Fighter II X was exclusive to the Sega Dreamcast.
Street Fighter IV (all versions) was the fifth to be cross platform, and came out for both the 360 and PS3.

Interesting.
Saw the trailer and screens. It just looks like a super clean version of SFIV.
I don't approve of timed exclusives really but I have to admit this is wickedly on point.
Not a fan of SF and I don't have an XB1, but that's some evil shit right there hah.
Read a bit more - It's timed? If so that's cool, it's whatever then.

Need a "treating Playstation owners as first class citizens" one next.
The idea of GAF being "unfairly" biased towards PS4 and having some underlying pro-Sony agenda that is somehow actively harming the XB1's ability to compete is hilarious to me. This an internet forum full of random video game nerds, not the fucking Supreme Court.
hopefully you can play without lag![]()
I suspect sony funded it. Time ago they said to haven't enough money to put SF V on consoles. My opinion on timed/console exclusives hasn't changed. I only really think they are acceptable if the game wasn't going to be made unless the party benefiting from exclusivity put up the cash to make it happen.
I wonder if Sony/Capcom will handle this announcement better than Microsoft/SquareEnix.
Do you know something we don't? Or do you think Ono was lying?
It's on point for mocking the vacuous statements MS made regarding their strategy of securing timed exclusives when they unexpectedly found themselves under a modicum of pressure from media. How is it on point...Street fighter is in another league popularity and sales wise as KI.
Tomb raider thread was the polar opposite to this.Oh I think there's a little bias. Not saying it's unfair, but it exists. Hell, it could simply be because more people own a PS4. I don't know the reasons. I don't see a problem with more people preferring Sony but things get rrreeeally weird when certain practices are permissible on one platform and not the other. People damn near lost their minds over the Tomb Raider announcement. I'm not saying there isn't reason to feel good (and maybe even gloat a little) over SFV's exclusivity, but then don't hate when it happens elsewhere.
That is quite the exclusive. Welp my thoughts go out to anyone who threw down on xbone sticks.
So guys, kinda hard to read it between the piles of exclusivity posts but, is there an arcade version of the game? Straight to consoles? That would be neat.
Nooooo
Well, the TR sequel was announced as coming to all (relevant) platforms for months, then it was yanked away. You can understand how some might see this scenario in a different light.People damn near lost their minds over the Tomb Raider announcement.
AHSGAGG
HOLY FUCK WHAT THE FUCK DID I JUST WAKE UP TO
Didn't Ono say that Capcom couldn't afford to make SF5? So in this case that's good that Sony helped funding, I don't see how this is similar to Tomb Raider situation.
Why people persist to compare TR to this case? Isn't it comparable. Just stop it.Oh I think there's a little bias. Not saying it's unfair, but it exists.
