I really dislike it when people used wifi for fighting games. I don't really care what kind of excuses they have.

It is also very frustrating trying to convince those people that wifi is not as good as wired. I have argued with many of them when we play and i realise that they are using wifi because of how terribly laggy the matches we had were, most people have so little time with fg's that it is all the same to them and whether there is lag or not they can't tell.

So they should do...what? Stop playing online?

I admit, I'm on WiFi and don't want wires across a flight of stairs, but then again, I usually don't play fighting games online these days because of it.

Wifi isn't the issue. My US matches are great, my foreign ones are trash, and I'm on wifi with a good router and internet.

Ps4 wifi is NOT ps3 wifi.

Wifi isn't THE issue, it is an issue though. Ps3 is not the only system with wifi. Obviously playing with a player from another continent is going to be awful regardless of what they are using to connect to the internet. Unless you are very familiar with how the netcode behaves and how your character controls most people might not understand smaller fluctuations of lag this early.

Its only an issue if your stuff is bad. PS3 wifi was a decade old and universally godawful. The game not locking out cross continent matchmaking is terrrible.

And yeah I do not like playing charge chars on the Hori fc. I need something with more gradiance that let's me change up blocking easier. Sticks and saturn pad have that.

Heh, it's pretty good when both players in an R. Mika mirror activate their V-Skill at the same time. You're kind of not sure what to do at that point.

I'm hoping that the full game has an indicator for wifi and wired users.
This would be great!

I wish the PC beta was up. ;_;
Only 1 more day to wait though!

If your console and TV isn't on the same floor as the router, hard-wiring the console just isn't feasible. I don't think it's as much an "excuse" as it is a reality.

i hope the game doesnt have these ingame updates once its out.
for some reason i havent been able to download the 1.05 patch at all.
it fails as soon as it starts.
ive even redownloaded the entire beta but nothing,.

So far I have had 3 matches in my first 15min leaving me hardly any time to try out any of the characters so I've been getting my ass handed to me.
