That and, on the whole, people suck / are cowards / hate losing.

Except the Gold and Silver league trophies in this game actually WOULD BE real achievements if there wasn't a shitty method of cheating other players to get there...
 
It's so dumb, they're not interested in playing the game, they just want the little meaningless titles / icons.

BTW I don't think I've faced any gaffer yet :0

Which they can't implement until the servers are stable. Which they rarely are for big online games at launch. Which makes such trophies cause this kind of problem.

Completely disagree. The stick doesn't make the fighter any better. You need to get a decent pad and put this 'stick elitism' aside. I've been using a Saturn controller since... well, the Saturn era and haven't had any issues. I also ordered one of those Hori Fighting Commander pads for when I am hitting up PS4 events, for sake of convenience and portability.

Seriously think about it and try some sticks to see if you like them. It isn't worth forcing yourself to get used to them just to have a stick. They are expensive, heavy and take up space. Plus, you might become one of those nerds who carries around their gaudy fight stick at conventions and events ;)

They seem pretty stable now... Laggy maybe, but stable.
I honestly haven't seen a legit looking disconnect since last Saturday.
 
I think just bringing back the % disconnect icon would be a big help to curb dropping. Sure the servers are unstable right now, but the % difference between true disconnects and droppers would be fairly obvious.

I'm not even sure what you're talking about. I'm only telling him that I enjoy playing fighters with a stick. I never said sticks are better than pads in any way, shape or form.

Because Capcom lets them. The achievement is just one factor, not the root of the problem.

Of course when you ignore any advancements made in online multiplayer over the past 5+ years and handle disconnecting even worse than in goddamn SFIV - i.e. not at all - then you're gonna foster an environment of notorious rqers, but most aren't even like that. Competitive games just get to people, I'd bet that the vast majority of rqers you run into only do it occasionally on impulse when they feel like they lost to something cheap etc.

It's nothing short of pathetic that Capcom is still ignoring the issue. The dc screen has already reached meme status, turning off even more potential buyers after an already fucked launch.

RAP4 is super easy. Just unscrew the bottom. pull of the connectors to 1 button, pop out by pushing in tabs and replace with a Sanwa. Do 1 at a time so you don't mix up wires. Once you get the bottom off its super easy and obvious what you have to do.

LOL I was going to make a post on this. I haven't had much time to play and Karin seems to have a higher learning curve than others. I'm still at 700s and haven't ever seen a RQ. I'll be in the 1,000s if I can play tonight or tomorrow so we shall see then.
 
Just broke 3500 LP, into Ultra Silver now. Going to have to take a break because my dogs need things like food and sadly they cannot go to the store and get it themselves.

Really starting to feel Karin right now, getting more and more used to using all her tools. I want that 4k points and that achievement.
