My brain kept saying "stop jumping", but stupid fingers wouldn't listen.

So survival normal is supposed to be pretty hard, then? I thought I just sucked. Easy was easy with every character, but normal is a bitch for me around stage 28. I haven't completed it even once yet. The bad part about starting over is having to sit through almost 30 post match load screens every fucking time. I can't imagine doing Hard or god forbid Hell mode.

Stage 25-30 AI can be easy or really hard, like a car 0-60 in 5.6 secs, just have to notice which fight is easy and which fight the AI went to max...even at max, AI still a dumbass and will fall for the same move over and over, just have to figure what move it is, if you playing Ken/Ryu spam Shoryuken all day and it's easy win...
Yeah, the difficulty spike for the last 3 stages of normal is pretty absurd, and as usual with fighting games AI is about reading your inputs to make it totally unfair.
Not worth losing your time on it, really.

I did just that with Ryu, except spammed hadouken. Got me to stage 29 but then I lost to Necalli's bitch ass.
off topic: Is every new dlc character supposed to come with a stage, or was Guile's just a bonus?
We still don't know.
Alex already had a NY stage in the game, so I suppose we'll get an answer to this question with this month's character.
I would be surprised if they made a new stage for each one of them, though.
I agree but we did get comment from the company contracted to do a lot of the stages that most of the ones they did weren't (at release) in the game yet. We could be getting much "simpler" stages, like Guile's, with a few of the character releases.

It's certainly within the realm of possibility though.
If that's true, I sure as hell hope the FANG stage featured in the artwork makes it in here.

Does anyone remember when Nash could link both of his target combos in the beta? He had all the time in the world, and some more to confirm a cancel lol.

I do cr.LP, then MP as the crouch LP animation starts, and then immediately start holding down, so I'm holding down before MP even comes out. I have to mash buttons for it to buffer properly. Because of the weird input with the game, turning on Input Display in training shows it as down-MP, even though it comes out as a standing MP. (I also occasionally mess up and get a slide instead.)
You can also do standing jab into LK SBK. 2x cr.LP, up-LP, up-LK. 3 jabs are easy to hit confirm with,and you get the knockdown from SBK.

This work like a charm her normal survival was super easy, only person 25-30 who scared me was Nash mofo though he was a boss, even grabbed me out of Ressenha just before it hit, i was shocked by that..

i think the naming is appropriate. normal turns normal in the last few matches while the rest is just warm up filler. hard starts getting hard earlier, around 30s. you can die there swiftly if you mess up.

I refuse to play Survival until they fix the A.I difficulty spike and add Continues. It's just too maddening. I love colors but Survival is garbagw.

See i refuse to give them a dime for season pass, at least once (sometimes 2) a week i try and complete a normal survival, up to 420k FM... I will get to 600k eventually, buy the characters and if season 2 characters are impressive i will purchase it..

Hahaha I bought the Season Pass before the game even came out because I didn't want to have to deal with scrambling for colors and characters and stages. I'll buy Season 2 Season Pass too if I still care about the game next year.

This is the right answer. You can do the SBK extremely late after the cr.mk for some reason. It helps to think of the SBK as another link, rather than cancelling the cr.mk into SBK.
It seems much more difficult at first than it actually is. You just need to get the rhythm of it.
Pretty good, though it's really down to Balrog or Ibuki in terms of who's coming this month.

So many potential characters. Though I think they'll probably just stick with Laura & Sean (who I'm guessing will be in Wave 2, with the Cinematic Story Mode setting up Sean ditching the family style to try & become the pupil of Ken) as far as playable characters go. Though I do hope that if Sean ends up playable, that he serves as a means to flesh out the Matsuda Family. All we know right now, this family tree aside, is that Vega killed Kinjiro under the orders of M. Bison & that the Matsuda Jiu-Jitsu dojo was passed to Fabio (him being the eldest son)

Sean training under Ken would be a retcon. In SF3 (which takes place after SFV) he's trying to become Ken's pupil.

I phrased that wrong, sorry. I meant him trying to become Ken's pupil. Though to be honest, I wouldn't be surprised if they re-tell the events of Street Fighter III in SFV.

I don't think Resurrection is canon, because that would mean AF is, and that conflicts with a bunch of things that I doubt they'd retcon IIRC.
Still, both are worth a watch regardless.

We should, there's like 3 extra months of "work" next year considering SF5 launched in feb and had it's first dlc a month later, and the cinematic story mode taking up another month.
I doubt we aren't getting anything for 6 months after urien drops.
