I'm digging Juri so far, though I've not played online yet (too tired)--just some practice mode time, her story and survival easy mode with both starting costumes. I like the speed (I've mostly played Chun-Li the little I played) and not being a charge character like Chun.

I really dig Juri's alt costumes, the snow jacket look especially suits her. Hopefully she gets her retro costume soon. Never used the character much but definitely dig her overall design. Although, I do wish she didn't have any eye-patch on her primary outfit.

It's her hair. The lack of pigtails gives the illusion that her face is narrow.

I know that feel. I got to Bison on survival normal as Juri and lost. Got it on the next try though.
Now I'm just 12k fight money away from being able to buy the Casino stage. I'll probably have to wait until Urien drops and then get it from completing stuff with him.

Some tidbits about Juri (Will update with my findings), I might be wrong on some of these.

-St.LP and Cr.LK are 3 frames.
-CH Light punches link to Cr.MP
-Cr.MP is 0 on block.
-St.MP is at +2.
-Medium punches are 5F startup

I can't beat ryu with my day 1 juri, even crossups don't work for some reason because ryu can just slightly walk forward and then just press hk which either puts me at a disadvantage or stuffs juri's crossup outright. Bah.

I figured as much but is there a reliable way to be player 1 in ranked? AFAIK there doesn't seem to be a difference in likelihood if I search via the menu instead of fight request or vice versa but maybe I'm missing something.

Thanks. Bought all 3 of them that were available. 11-13 are awesome. 13 is close enough to EX2 to make me a little less bitter about that situation.

I'm a lab monster. I can't really enjoy Juri until I see frame data and make setups. I already have setups to beat meaties, but I need specifics and how punishable stuff is.

Also, they already got rid of the Evo stuff on Ring of Destiny. It just has the SF logo on the titantrons now.

I'm guessing they're only going to change it for premier events so TGS is next I guess.

Can't remember what the 9'th trials is exactly. But I do know that one of the trials needed a full on dash after a CC. Might be that one. You can check by viewing the trial demonstration and see how it should be done

just cleared survival hard with juri. sorry, capcom, it looks like i won't be taking the bait on that FM sink for the colors. especially when 4 of the AI characters walk into sweeps.
