Most 09ers should have at least played SF2 before.

I know a lot of players whose actual first fighter was SF4.

It's one of the reasons I've stopped saying stuff like, "Bye, Felicia" about SF4. A lot of younger players that I've come to respect told me that SF4 was "their first fighter" and they wouldn't even be part of the community if not for the game.

Yeah, Ono has made a point that there are a lot of younger players who are just getting into the games. The DLC story mode was made with them in mind and he even joked that people who didn't want a cinematic story were old. IF SFV makes it big again it will be in part because of a rush of new players interested in it and not just the aging base.

I would like to mention actually the last two costume packs for 4 had quite a few of them actually. Even unrealistic ones.
