Does he have BO? Does't dress professionally enough? Keeps to himself too much? Drinks coffee but never makes it? Can't park? Bad haircut? Ugly socks? Talks to people in the bathroom? Constantly leans back in his chair and makes that annoying sqeeeeeek sound? Doesn't hold the elevator door open for people?

I have to review one of my colleagues in work. I've had a lot of positive things to say about him, but the trouble is, I can't think of anything negative. This man is confident, positive, dependable, produces excellent work, communicates very well, co-operative, supportive and works well both on his own and in a team.

He's pretty much perfect. But I need to find something negative. GAF, if you've ever reviewed a colleague, are there any little things that I might not have thought of?

Is he at ease in his current job?

If he is, then he is "operating within his comfort zone and lacks ambition".

If he is not, then he is "underutilised and needs a greater challenge".

Whenever amd gaming evolved tells me there is a new driver I download and install it etc but even after updating is still tells me an update is available and does pop ups... for the driver I already just installed. How do you fix this?

I've been wanting to get my firstname@lastname.com as an email address for as long as I can remember, but someone has been sitting on my lastname.com for almost 20 years. Other variants of my lastname.XXX (lastname.web, lastna.me, etc) are not really available. However, I was just searching and realized I can get my lastname.mba.

My question is this: does this seem too pretentious? I think it would be bad for personal use, but maybe it would look good on a resume (since I do have an MBA)? Or maybe a hiring manager would see it and think, "Blech, this guys is too far up his own ass." What say you, GAF?

I don't why you "need" to find something negative to say. I would think the primary motivation for such would be to find areas for improvement. If you think he's knocking it out of the park, ask him what he thinks he could be doing better. Work together to find a goal for him.

Yup, he should be promoted until he's incompetent.

At my old job they would always reach for something negative to put in my eval because the form said to put something, and I'd leave the eval a bit discouraged and less motivated. They haven't done that to me in my current job and I always leave the eval very motivated. When I write evals for others, if I can't think of something that needs improvement I just state that I can't think of anything because the person takes the initiative to resolve any problems on their own, or some such.

Having a firstname@lastname.anything email seems pretentious.

So, everyone probably knows how to do a wheelie on a regular bike, you just lift the steering wheel with your arms, basically. My question is, would it be possible somehow to manage this without using nothing but your feet on the pedals? Like if you apply force with your feet at some specific point on the pedals or shift your weight in some special way while accelerating? Seems like a thing trick bikers might be able to do?

A bicycle? Motorcycle? Steering wheel?

Is there a Neogaf thread for non-gaming laptops? I'd like to purchase a simple, budget netbook or something and was hoping to find some guidance.

Has anyone else thought about some of the positives to humans having fur/thick hair all over?

I've often thought about this. But tonight the jealousy came on strong as a mosquito got me with its sly ass, I'm too tipsy right now. However I just seen a mosquito land on the cats fur and then roll out. Leaving the cat unharmed.

We could walk naked.

Winters wouldn't suck so bad.

Creative hairstyles.

Dye like never before.

Sure mud would suck. And fleas. But c'mon.

Coats are like fur you can take off. Plus summers would suck exponentially more.

I don't, but it's how I'd do it. Could also use clip in pedals to the same affect.
I suppose it'd require a lot of practice. Good idea about the pedals, not that I'm gonna try it xD That'd work better with female bikes (not sure if that's a thing outside of Sweden).

how do nutrition facts work.

are they based off of what they assume a normal person would eat or assume that the person will consume everything.

examples.

on a can of fruit, do the nutrition facts assume you will drink all the liquid, or drain the fruit?

or alternatively.

does the nutrition facts for bacon assume you will only eat the bacon strips that are cooked, or that you will drink the grease afterwards? (not that I would drink the grease, but it is part of the original product that you put in the pan.) or perhaps even with bacon is it based off the raw bacon?

What ever happened the "who quoted me" feature GAF had some time ago? Seems like it only lasted about a week. Was it breaking things on the forum?

The one thing I don't like about *coworker* is that he's almost too good.

But as already mentioned, why do you need to write something bad about your coworker?

If I put my Win 10 into sleep mode or simply close my laptop, will my external HDD that is still connecting to the laptop be affected in anyway?
It shouldn't be. It will just turn off. The USB is also power to the drive, so once the power stops, so does the drive. It won't damage anything, if that's what you're wondering.

So, which is the name of the song that is being played now while browsing the Nintendo Eshop (WiiU, Europe)?
Is somewhere listed on the eshop so I wont ridicule myself, because the tune is very familiar but I cant remember its name?

There's a new standard song, maybe you're referring to it?

I recently installed a new hard drive on my PS4. I'm putting my game discs in one by one to install the game and force the system go download updates as well. How can I tell from the menu if a game had fully installed from the disc?

The other day I saw a friend on Facebook post an article saying that Keanu Reeves have met with the Wachowskis regarding two more Matrix movies. Surely this can't be true? I haven't heard a word on gaf or any other news sites.

This article http://www.inquisitr.com/3257349/ke...surface-online-but-producers-are-staying-mum/ dated yesterday mentions a Facebook post making the rounds referencing a 2011 article about more Matrix sequels.

Basically, no one on Facebook checks publication dates.

Can anyone recommend me a good postal forwarding service to get items from the US to Europe? I've done it with Japanese and UK goods before but not American.

Can a video card swap cause instability on a Windows 10 desktop?

Made sure to uninstall my old drivers as I had to downgrade to my old card for the time being. CC & other GPU-intensive apps are slower as expected, but I've been experiencing a lot of freezes even just within Windows itself (Explorer, Start, etc). No other hardware or software changes.

Now I would make my own thread for this but I got juniored :/ Mabey that's why ;)

Anyway I really want to try Xanax but I heard it is super addicting. I have tried Molly and shrooms and am preety good at keeping those under control and only doing them once or twice a year. I heard they were fun as hell so should I try them or are they to easy to get addicted?

All I will say is, thank god xanax is/was hard to come by in my area, because that shit is super habit-forming.

Fun times, yes, but, ya gotta respect the drug.

Aight man I won't because I think I have a addictive attiidute with weed and pop so it would probley be bad if I took something that is clinically addictive. Thanks for the response :)

1. Is there a specific thread where I can ask for network troubleshooting? Or recommend me a site where I can ask such questions?

I'll ask it here just in case:

I think my router may be slowing down my internet, even wired connections. It's not that noticeable when browsing pages but whenever I try and stream videos I get a pretty noticeable delay. Netflix is taking longer. Youtube has decided to not work at all on all of my phones , computer (wireless) nor consoles (wired). Whenever I connect the computer or console directly to the modem, youtube starts playing instantly. When I go to speedtest.net I get a low ping but it takes a while for the test to actually start. I've resetted the router back to factory settings with not such luck. I've changed the ethernet cable and that's not it either. Maybe the router is broken? It's a D-link DIR-868L, which is supposedly a very good router...this is getting frustrating. Tried searching on Google with no such luck.

Thanks guys.

Try broadcasting on channel 1 or 11.

Not sure if this is the place to post it, but I need some advice and would like to hear GAF's opinion:

Is a degree (the Spain equivalent of a minor I believe) in Game Design and Development a viable life choice?
