Hey GAF. I have a desk that looks similar to this. I'd like to use a dual-monitor setup, so is there absolutely any way to remove the separating wall and cubby holes on the right? There are no visible screws on my desk.

Now I may be talking out of my ass but it's possible the shelves are being held in place with these things (I chose this pic solely because of the almost Gaf logo in the corner):
There may be glue there also which would make things trickier. If you don't want to actually take the whole upper part of the desk apart I'm guessing you could try sawing through the wood dowel pins (IF they really are wood!) that connect the shelves to the roof and the outer wall, but I don't know if you'll be able to find a saw that'll fit in between those parts. But if that worked then you should probably be able to pull the shelves off with a bit of force and by prying a wedge between the parts with a flat-head screwdriver. Then again that might not work out at all, I've never tried taking furniture apart.
You could always just take a sledgehammer and try breaking the shelves you don't want to be there and then just pull off the broken pieces, but you could end up destroying more than you intended so be careful. There might be some surface damage to the wood so be prepared to paint the whole thing if everything goes horribly wrong lol.
And I'm totally making this up as I go along but that's how I'd go about it, my DIY skills might not be pretty and/or safe but stubbornness gets things done sometimes. Be prepared to either fuck everything up or have nothing at all happen if you follow my advice but if it works out, yesss.
Maybe you should wait until a real handyman answers, taking the whole thing apart seems like the safest choice :-D
How many servings do bloom teas normally yield? I've been hearing a single bloom is supposed to yield 6 cups of tea, but some say it's only for an individual serving. The link is what I'm getting and not sure how many servings per bloom it yields.

I'm way too scared to take a hammer to it. The wood feels thick and rooted firmly to the desk. I'm not exactly sure how this desk was put together, but I feel this is going to be difficult and messy.
Also, it isn't my desk, so I can't damage it in any way. /:
I have 2 gmail accounts, one is business, the other is... Well, other. My main is the other (Hah, I was such a youngster and had a 'serious' business email created later... Anyway...)
I have a main Gmail account (Account A) and a second Gmail account (Account B) that forwards its mail to A. The thing is, I completely forgot what my password, security question, etc is for account B; I can still receive stuff though, and it all gets forwarded to Account A. Except for some mails my friend sent. So I want to login Account B and change some settings; but I forgot all info about it. When I try to retrieve password (my second email for Account B, is Account A, can you still follow? ) it tells me "I can only retrieve password after 4 days of inactivity."
What's my best step of solving this? Remove Account B from Account A and risk being locked out of B forever, but wait 4 days?
In my house, I have a wireless broadband router which everyone gets internet from. I have the router connected to my PS3 and PC.
However, we are building an outbuilding and I will also need wireless + wired internet there.
How do I do it?
Do I buy a wireless switch, and a longass ethernet cable (25+ metres), and then connect it to my current router?
Or maybe I need two routers? I don't know what to do tbh. Can I use two routers? One connected to my phone line, and another in the outbuilding, which is connected to the first router with an ethernet cable.
It's probably a dumb question but I have an Onkyo 3D Receiver but it "only" have 5 HDMI ports and I already have them occupied by 5 devices. Is it possible to get some kind of extension so I'll have more HDMI ports?

Absolutely not. Cold sores are highly contagious; giving oral sex to someone while having cold sores can possibly lead to them getting genital herpes.
EDIT: Sorry, I didn't completely finish reading your post. I'm not entirely sure if you're completely healed. I'd suggest consulting with a doctor just to be safe.
It depends what kind of sores you have. If they are simply mouth ulcers, then they are not at all contagious and you don't need to worry. However, if you have oral herpes, then you could transmit your disease at any time, even if you don't notice any symptoms or aren't having a breakout (although the chances are much, much lower). The virus is in you forever and there's no known cure yet, so you'll never be "completely healed."
It's jarring as fuck going back and forth between the two. Android interface fluidity leaves a lot to be desired. The Android devices are generally higher spec'd so, what's the deal?
How much time should I allow for food delivery before it's late?

Well stress does age people early, no? So i'd imagine there's some truth to the hair color changing. But it is largely dependend on genes as well, i'm just shy of 23 and i have some gray strands of hair in my beard (but only in beard).
I found a strange strand yesterday that was only half white, meaning that the outer 5cm were white and the inner 3-4 were dark brown. So that must mean that the color came back again a couple of months ago, right? From what I've read, if your hair goes grey/white due to genes and age, it will stay that way forever. But this strand clearly shows a change of its own. That's why I figure it could be stress related or due to hormone changes or something.
We'll definitely need a thread for it, so I'd say go ahead if you want to make one. It's possible other folks have discussed making one, but if so I haven't seen it.
Why is it that some alcohol affect you more than others? I get the worst hangovers from 4.5% ciders but I can't stand the taste of 7%. But if I drink vodka or anything in the 20-60% range, the buzz is quite enjoyable. This seems to vary from person to person too. I love shots, too bad they're 10 dollars each for 4cl...

Sugar and impurities. Drinking stuff like cider and ice beers will probably make you sleepy and give you headaches (of course everyone processes stuff differently) while well processed scotch and gin won't do a lot of anything. Vodka kinda falls in between but is going to give you less problems than cider/ice beers.
Lucid it was for sure (very common for me, hate them) but usually i wake up by starting to think about the damn dream, usually it being so odd. Wasn't a nightmare. I don't think it was sleep paralysis, never experienced that before... not that my opinion changes facts, if it was. EDIT actually, much more frightening in retrospect if it was sleep paralysis. The dream was kinda scary but i wouldn't classify it as nightmare... Better to head to the proper thread, thanks for link t-ramp.
Not having used Twitter I'm taking a wild guess and say that they automatically resize your avatar to a fixed square size. Is the avatar you are trying to upload rectangular or square? If it isn't perfectly square maybe you could try cropping it yourself.

Does it have to be perfectly square, you think? It's a few pixels off from being perfectly square. I thought if it was close enough then maybe it'd work, but it still added artifacts.
EDIT: Actually, I just made it perfectly square and it still added artifacts. Hmm...

I'm on my phone so I can't do the calculation, but if a code has ten characters and each character slot has 36 possible different characters (letters and numbers), what's the probability of the code being something specific? Like ABCDEFGHIJ?

I noticed that your image is a jpg which is kinda notorious for causing stupid artifacting. I made a PNG-version of it, see if that makes any difference. http://i4.minus.com/irqYYvytG6pc5.png

Hi everyone! Though official acceptance/rejection emails go out on the 1st of March for university applicants, I was just issued a student ID and decided to poke around on the website and found this on my records. Does this mean I got accepted into the university? I'm incredibly anxious right now.
