Who should I ask for a username change. Using my real name for GAF is turning out to be a silly idea considering all the idiotic stuff I say on here.
That's the mod list... try asking one of them.

If you don't mind getting a little fanciful, could your character shoot a bullet crafted out of ice?Unfortunately, the gun has to be kept. And TV doesn't tell me what to do in this situation, so I'm asking the professionals! (What?)
Fuck it, I'm not using a gun. Thanks anyways, guys!
According to the internet, in the US channel 1 has a specific frequency spectrum that is reserved for land radio devices. Why is it that no network is on channel 1?

Do you remember if the story was a modern story? or a classic?
The first time I read your post, I thought it was an E.A.P story; but it's wildly different to yours.
Context might help. do you remember if the story sounded like a classic narrator, like Victorian times, or whether it was more modern?
Why do some plane contrails disappear soon after they are left, while others kind of just spread out over time into milky/thin clouds? Temperature differences?

If GUI support is compiled in, press t.
If you want to be selective from the command line, use the flag "-sub", as in
mplayer -sub something.srt wickedmovie.mp4
Toggle sub visibility with v. Cycle through available subs with j.
In any case, mplayer automatically picks subs if the filename of the srt is identical to the movie name, and the srt is in the same folder.
For instance, I have these two:
/home/wm/films/japaneseporn.avi
/home/wm/films/japaneseporn.srt
That way, shit automagically works. Same goes for VLC.
Probably no GUI support. t only works with GUI support. How do I put in a command in mplayer exacty?
I press t?
I'm using Mac OS X.
People who overuse ellipses need to be round up and shot.
I have this one "friend" on Facebook who always ends sentences with !!!! and posts with !!!!!!!!!!!
What's the psychological mechanism that makes people end all sentences with ^^ or ... on the internet? Especially women. What the fuck is going on there?
It's happening everywhere. I'm talking about Germans myself. But I see it everywhere. Maybe it's also part 23 effect (you know, someone tells you 23 is everywhere and gives a few examples, and boom, you see that number in every thing around). Could be.I've noticed most of the time that english isn't their first language.
Yeah, that's maybe true. Although, I've got this metal freak as a buddy who ends all posts with ^^ that guy's not into anime. Maybe he's doing it to attract emo anime chicks, keikaku desu yo。Anyway, he even adds ^^ when he posts a YT URL.This is a generalization but from playing random MMORPGs I've noticed that it's mostly Asians that use things like ^^ xD ^_^ :3 and if they're not Asian then they're weeaboos
I'm thinking it's an anime thing as well

":3" always makes me picture a giant greasy blob with a neckbeard sitting at his computer surrounded by overpriced moe figurines.

I think they're cute and can be surprisingly expressive ^_^

Not even a little bit.
do people actually use the word "loathe" in real life, or is it just the cool way to say "hate" on the internet? I've actually never heard someone use that word in real life before
loathe sounds like loaf of bread or loafers that you wear on your feet
does every question have an answer?
to me, "hate" sounds a lot stronger than "loathe." loathe sounds like loaf of bread or loafers that you wear on your feet
"Hate" gets thrown around more too, so it has lost some strength, especially with the over-use of "hater." I would use "loathe" if I really wanted it known that I can't tolerate something. It would be very rare. Whereas I hate a lot of shit.I'd say "loathe" is stronger because it's impossible to say it without your voice subtly slipping into that of Alan Rickman. Gives it a certain emphasis.
