K I have a question:

Is a MMS degree (Master of Medical Science) an equivalent to a higher degree? I'm looking into a Physician Assistant program that awards an Associate's Degree after completion, but also offers a option of acquiring a MMS if desired. Just curious if this is just as good as a Bachelor's or higher in eye's of an employer in lieu of a University degree.
 
I saw someone with an avatar yesterday with a girl with black hair and a huge tattoo on the right side of her head. Does anyone know which member this was?
 
How does one go about learning transcendental meditation?

(I live in the middle of nowhere so going to actual classes isn't an option)

I don't believe so. I'm almost 100% certain they don't to move money from PayPal to bank. I'm less sure about bank to PayPal, but I strongly doubt it.
 
Is there anyway to get an upgrade from Verizon cheaper? My phone is not working correctly and I am due for an upgrade. Unfortunately I really cant afford to dish out $300 for the Galaxy Nexus. Is there anyway to get that price reduced?

If I wanted to resize a picture for an avatar, couldn't I just resize a picture from a gallery of mine on Imgur?

The less in your stomach, the less there is to get in your lungs while you're under anaesthesia, which stops the reflex that normally prevents that from happening.
 
Is it true that I can't do the SAT after secondary school even when I am taking a gap year? I have already done it and haven't got my results yet, but I was thinking I'd do it again in a year or so. Not sure if it's really important but I don't live in the U.S.
 
would you really need to study at a film school to get a job in the film industry? you know like directing or editing movies.

If you're given pills to take directly before hand, would it be bad to have a small amount of water to make them go down easier?

I think it comes from Japan where they put "-chan" at the end of things they really like. I guess you could translate it with "-sweetie"

I was under the impression it was a short in-joke decided in the first letter of your username February avatar thread.

Some fella got overzealous about someone having the same avatar as him. There might be a different reason why people are doing it, but this is my best guess.
 
I was wondering how damaging it is to use chargers for electrical appliances that aren't meant for each other.


I've got a Sony mp3 player (NWZ-S639F), but it only comes with a USB cable to plug into the computer to charge. Which is annoying when traveling.

However, I have a charger plug for my LG phone, and the charger is basically a plug with a USB port on it.

So could I use the LG plug with my mp3-players cable and my mp3-player connected to it? It would basically be:

socket --> LG plug --> Sony USB cable --> Sony MP3 player.



Safe? Will I fuck up the battery of my player? ...

Generally I wouldn't do it with large electronics (laptops, televisions etc.) but I have done something similar with an MP3 player before and it didn't cause any problems for me. Obviously the companies would prefer you not do that so you are forced to buy their charger, but AFAIK it doesn't cause any problems. Maybe someone with more expertise could weigh in to be sure.

My question is, what is a v-card? Will allowing someone to download this deprive me of my Internet virginity?

Ah, I see. I think. Would I be right in thinking it's supposed to give of a kind of "cutesy" image as well as saying you like something?
