Suicide Squad: Kill The Justice League Livestream Announced for Wednesday

Hyped for potential train wreck. Would love it if Rocksteady found a way to convert the assets into a traditional Arkham game. But lord knows they already hired a ton of people from the Casino App industry to share their psychological triggers to get people spending money on those purps and oranges. Probably no going back.
 
They would have had to significantly change the gameplay overall to make me wanna get it. Oh and focus on SP. Oh and let me play as batman and call it Batman Arkham Knight Returns.
 
IMO, I don't think they had time to fix anything or even tried. They're going to stuff the pockets of influencers to control the narrative.
 
Looking forward to seeing what they did. Either they pulled out of the nosedive or we see it cancelled by Christmas is what I'm guessing.
 
Man, I feel bad for the code monkeys at Rocksteady. They know this game has "dead on arrival" written all over it and is gonna hurt even worse with it being the first game in almost nine years after the prestigious Batman: Arkham series. But all they can do is follow their manager's orders and try to survive the onslaught of online hate and possible layoffs.
 
No way they were able to completely overhaul the game in this short of a time. On the one hand, I want to give them the benefit of the doubt because of their track record, but man did they screw the pooch with that tone-deaf reveal. Don't have a lot of hope for this one.

These 6-12 month delays are mostly for polishing and squashing bugs. At best, they'd have added a few QoL features and improved the UI slightly.

The problems with Suicide Square are more design-related issues. And as you said, those could not be fixed in such a short time, without pretty much overhauling the game.

I'm still feeling weary on this game. Everything they shown so far gave me nothing but red flags, but I'll give them benefits of the doubt. That being said, it's definitely not a game I'm gonna play at launch

I honestly gonna watch as well because its very unlikely they changed the game in such time. Maybe they tone down or just did some tuning for presentations purposes, who knows.

Yep. So far the cutscenes looks great with good facial capture, but the open world looks much worse than arkham city from 8 years ago

Yeah... this still does nothing for me. They're desperately trying to flex the story, the cinematics, etc. They're talking about special gameplay, but it looks so... not exciting to me. They talk about it as if it's something new and different, but it really doesn't look like it at all, lmao.
 
Could be fun, but im simply not supporting any of WB's future GAAS trash plans. Actively ruining the industry. They can fuck off, this will flop miserably

Still looks like a downgrade visually from Arkham Knight.

Also, all of the colors, and the look of the city, reminds me of Sunshit Overdrive :sick:
 
This is definitely their best showing yet. Cutscenes looks great with good facial animations, traversal looks fun. Open world lighting looks really dull to me tho and im still mad about the coop and shit gaas focus, but we'll see...

the lighting looks flat in this game tho, but i really want to see this in 4K, why its shit 1080p in 2023? Youtube compression destroys this

Yeah I don't care for any of these characters, and having to listen to their banter is going to be painful, especially Harley. Ugh. Even so I may pick this up depending on what else is releasing around that time.

If they're really trying to win us over, then they need to let us play the game at some point before release, cuz otherwise and after Gotham Knights, very few people will buy this game at launch knowing that it's a GaaS game.

I'm not saying I'll buy the game, I'm just saying that it doesn't look bad from pure gameplay perspective and the way you move through the city. But WB can sure fuck it all up (even if there's some good stuff in it) bc they're masters at doing so, especially when it comes to predatory microtransactions in a single player games alone.
