Suiguang reveals new VR/AR Headset for pre-order: 'Rhino Pro X'. ¥3,525, 5G, 4320x2160(4K) res, gesture tracking, FPGA support, multi-SDK support.

On November 30, Suiguang, a mixed reality industry solution provider, released the Rhino X Pro mixed reality all-in-one machine, and fully opened the appointment experience. Three years after the release of the previous generation product Rhino X, it provided industry users with a more powerful mixed reality interactive device.

Rhino X Pro has undergone all-round upgrades in terms of configuration, and is equipped with a high-performance computing platform to provide more powerful performance. The display module is equipped with two 2.89-inch screens with a resolution of 4320*2160, providing high-definition 4K picture quality, making the details more clear. In terms of interaction, Rhino X Pro is equipped with dual-ring controllers as standard, supports FPGA coprocessor hardware acceleration, and has added a gesture recognition function, making the interaction more in line with human intuition.

The price to USD converts to around ~$500 or so.

This is a VR/AR headset with the ability to switch between VR apps, and AR screen projection. In AR mode it's nothing special just screen projection and 5g.

In VR mode you have 4320x2160, 5G, 120hz, eye/gesture tracking, FPGA support, features related to the controllers I can't find yet until someone opens one, and for developers, supporting multiple SKU's as well as it's own tools to help devs "improve quality" of content. Very similar to the claim TCL's custom tools are claimed to be addressing for their VR headset. In AR mode it can be wireless, for VR mode it needs to be connected by one cable.

It is open for Pre-order, and will be coming to Australia, UK, and other countries in 2023.

VR is going to go pretty heavy in 2023 that's for sure. There's going to be a lot of competition and it's going to throw off peoples predictions. Not the question is will any of these 2023 headsets sell, especially after the launch period.
