Thanks to KO Travelling Hobo for posting the Funimation stream of Texhnolyze in another thread. Watched it over the passed week and man oh man, I was not prepared for that ending.
I remember figuring out how they were all related, but I can't remember. Needless to say, the stories for each version remain mostly the same. It's just a matter of the specifics being different in a way that I think makes the live action film a bit more interesting.
Thanks. As a whole I loved it. I had seen a few episodes previously but I did not expect the show to turn out as crazy as it did. I'll post a full impression later!
Fuck yes, Stinky Tofu!
Maybe in Japan, that is considered an exotic food. Certainly I don't think Taiwan is a place that immediately comes to mind as a country's cuisine that I'd like to try. lol
Sorry girls, you've got 20 more episodes to fill and much more plastic shit to sell!
I suppose they'll be back in school again soon, so there won't be all these random episodes... I suppose they can just go back to finding trouble around town or whatever.

7 volumes in total, vol1 is lower priced and includes only ep1, vol2-7 are regular price and probably contains 2 episodes each. Which would make this a 13 episode series.
A very melancholy episode with really wonderful atmosphere and overall attention to art direction. I presume that the revelation of Watashi's internal motivations wasn't merely meant to be significant in and of itself with no further narrative repercussions, but, rather, has set the stage for the finale as
Watashi is still waiting for her visitor at the end of the episode indicating that this plot isn't resolved
. Although I do enjoy the world-building and dark commentary, I'll still be satisfied if the series ends on a purely personal and intimate note. I don't know if there's a "grand statement" to be made in all of this anyway--probably can't top episode n nine in that regard.
That's a series thats been on my pile of shame for too long. I'm looking forward to getting to it one day. I mean, it's not every day you see a woman strapped to a man like a baby in what looks to be an otaku convention which neither of them seem to belong to
