What you see is definitely real, folks! No reason to doubt now...Brand new two-minute theatrical trailer for Gothicmade.

This could actually be happening!
It is not about determining if something is going to be good before seeing it, rather than this being about what you can possible expect from specific people's work you enjoyed before, their way of making or telling something that is personal. Judging it now is pointless, so... why dismiss something like this instead of been genuinely curious about it and wanting to see it based on previous experiences? We will have enough time to criticize it afterwards!Staff isn't the best barometer for determining if something will actually be good.
The concept itself? Or the endless possibilities to take out of it? Maybe because of this later part is a plot device so (well?) used.Time travel isn't really interesting though, it's kinda dumb. :/
Mr. Dezaki's Goodbye Lady Liberty! (http://www.pelleas.net/aniTOP/index.php/lupin-iii-bye-bye-liberty) is amazing. Also, I love the visual dynamism of the special Walther P38, but this one is of a different kind compared to the others. On that note, does anyone here have Lupin films/specials in particular to recommend (besides The Castle of Cagliostro) ?
That feeling when you realize we will never be able to enjoy this product of grorious nihon culture in English.
Air (movie)
Still shitty, even more so because it was made by a different studio with different artstyle.
Your new title is "Nausicaa Impersonator"
Her emergence from her cocoon was a very sharp contrast from Rakka's emergence, and it says a lot about their differences on its own.
Redline
Well, I guess it was OK.
Redline has a race or two in it. JP tries to win a the race. The end.
You really worked your way through the whole thing huh? It's almost unfair since you've seen the best the Genre has to offer with Clannad and Kanon. I didn't ask you if you seen Petopeto yet but if not then I highly recommend it. I does a better job with the mother-dughter relationship then Air did imo.
Sounds like you haven't watched BOTS3 (OVA).Say... since you seem to be into this work, can you give me your opinion on the ending of the third series? If you've seen it, can you explain.whether or not Jinta dies. My memories of it remains fuzzy abd my dvd of it is in storage... I feel like I either never saw the last episode or it went over my head... I don't know if they found him dead on the prison planet or not.
Sounds like you haven't watched BOTS3 (OVA).Jinto is very much alive at the end of the third series, your memory is definitely fuzzy lol
Well, there's always the upcoming anime.

It's time for low-res but direct feed and clean Magi magazine art spreads hosted by Aniplex!
Hakuoki Reimeiroku 02-06
Internal clan conflicts are the best thing about this series so far. Between its own members trying to one-up each other and their common goal to make headway with their clan, there is never a dull moment. There is something odd about the series in the beginning though, it’s very eventful but at the same time nothing really pushed the story forward. Take for example the relationships, they were stuck in a loop. Nothing really changes, same threats, complots and conflicts are prevalent in every episode (and are kind of repeated in a way).
Then the show takes a weird turn, which I did not see coming. Most conflicts have been about honor and expanding the clan presence in the city. They finally do find a way to get into good graces. When recruiting for new members happens, the show takes an unexpected turn. If this had happened sooner in the series, I would not even have founded weird. Still pretty surprising that they did this so far into the series, hopefully the plotline works out. Sorry to be so vague, but I really don’t want to spoil it for anybody who intends to watch it.
The way I describe above might sound overly negative, but the show is nowhere near bad. What is presented every episode is intriguing and the characters are fascinating. Funny enough, the main character Ibuki introduced in the first episode isn’t really the star of show and the most boring thing about it. It’s everybody else besides him that makes it work, even the badass “bad” guy Kamo has more presence then him. Like on a certain moment he only pops at the beginning of the episode and then the rest of the cast takes over. You only see him briefly doing a menial job, like giving Kamo a message or getting Sake. Maybe too soon to write him off, but he is boring and should cut off his hippy hair.
Tl;Lr: I think I might have overanalyzed anime.
Somebody animated that. That makes me feel all weird.
Anyone has experience with the Ninja Scroll series? btw, I heard Ninja Scroll gets a bluray release in Europe!!
Yeah, I don't see where he really fits into the whole story. Like everybody in that series besides him fits perfectly and have way more interesting story bits. Ibuki most interesting thing is the flashback that happened in the first episode, which we have heard nothing about since then, but besides that he is just a unnecessary passenger.I like how they handle the action in it, I dont know if Id putas being more intense than just everything with Serizawa, though both plot points are equally compelling, cant wait to see how they conclude. You really find Ibuki boring?Furies

[Hyouka] - 21
This advert for Virtual-On was pretty good.
Hyouka 21
post culture fair Hyouka is best Hyouka. Hyouka is best when it's about the main cast not someone else's problem, their feelings are far more interesting than everything else in the show.
Air episode 12 fin
This has to be the worst drama anime Ive seen.
2 or 3/10
And so begins Yamakan's next project: Wake Up,Girls!
Hang in there till Motherfucking Hammann Karn makes appearance. What have I done.
ZZ Gundam - 02
I skipped a huge chunk of episode 01 because it's mostly recap. Ugh.
The budget seems to have taken a huge hit and the direction is noticeably awful. Compared to Z Gundam, the shot choices are boring and little thought seems to have been put into making the series look any good.
Despite being a direct sequel to Z,the show makes no effort to show what happened in the wake of the final battle. Instead we're forced to get to know the shitty new character.
Judging from the first few episodes at least, the show feels like a Gundam parody. I had some issues with Z, but overall I think it was a really solid series.
I'm not sure if I can sit through 47 episodes of this if it's as stupid the whole way through.

Perhaps so, but it still seems to be gender imbalanced. Jupiter + only two seasons of UtaPri versus everything else?2011

Considering we get like... 100 new shows every year, the idol-genre isn't particularly saturated.
It's official: Zettai Karen Children is getting a second season.

Hyouka - Episode 21
Wow. There are no words. That was so good. I can admit when I've been owned, so I'll go ahead and say that Hyouka ended up being completely the opposite of what I expected. While the early parts of the series were unevenly paced and boring, it was also a reflection of how we're less likely to accept or appreciate just wasting time with people when we don't really know them or don't care for them. But given the time to slowly watch a small group of characters develop and grow over a series really pays off in the end when the direction of the story winds down into more personal reflections and events.
I can't wait to see how the main relationship in the series concludes next week. I never thought I would say that! >_<
Mayaka is still Best Girl, Erutards can suck it!!!

I have and though it's been a long time, I remember really enjoyig it. The here of the series (Juubee) almost come's off like an anti-hero in the begining. It's really cool to watch him develop. I don't think the freakshow is as disturbing as the original movie but it does a descent job of capturing the chaos of the period. I think this is a good thing because 13 episodes with the tone of the movie would be too heavy. The combat is exellent though, this may be my memory being shitty, the story seemed to have two may factions (as do most stories of this type because ninjas sure love their factions) that makes it hard to follow the story at times.
Wait, is next week the last episode?
Yes.
oh wtf. Of course it gets good only at the end. fuck this shit.
What have I done.

As far as I can see, he's only done character/mecha design before, and assisted with one manga.
If it was someone like ABe or Ikuhara or Hosoda, I could understand the mindless hype, even when it results in something like Penguindrum, but this guy? I really don't get it.
Not exactly the end, I guess, considering everyone's reaction to the festival arc.oh wtf. Of course it gets good only at the end. fuck this shit.
At the very least, I'm glad that they were executed better than Gosick's mysteries. Gosick had some potentially interesting mysteries but I really didn't like the way they were executed. They make a good comparison for me though because I ended up following both of these for reasons other than the mysteries.I need to watch the last two episodes but I'm pretty happy that the show is over soon. The poorly written mysteries were too too annoying to me.
