The story is progressing smoothly, and this time it had a nice script, but it was again a rather weak episode in construction. The staff was not particularly great for this one, and I'm beginning to think Rika Ota's Hyouka 20 was a fluke. The next two episodes should be pretty good (7 is YamadaxNao Naitou, 8 is TakemotoxChiyoko Ueno).

Hopefully Sega decides to if the PS3 version does well. That's what I'm hoping for the Vita bros. out there.
I've already lent my support by buying the Japanese Vita version (and the upgrade DLC with the extra songs from the PS3 version). Can't get enough of these Miku rhythm games! Looking forward to Project mirai 2 later this year =D
Shame on Sega for not bringing the correct version over to Western regions, though =/ Games like this are always better enjoyed in portable form...

Speaking of divas, it's the second Lemonade-flavoured episode in a row, and this time she's making her debut as a singer! Everyone is super excited about the prospect...except Urara herself, who isn't even sure she should be going down this path. Her dream is to become an actress, and starting a singing career feels like a step in a completely different direction. Silly Urara, don't you know that idols have to be able to do ALL THE THINGS?
Thankfully, she has a change of heart when Nozomi convinces her that singing and acting are fundamentally connected, because they both work towards Urara's real dream - to bring hope and dreams to her audience.
Also, something something toadboy something something Idol Kowaina. Yawn.
As a European, I think Canada is pretty Awesome. Better than its neighbour, that's for sure!

i kinda remember this one , at least the concerns felt genuine even if the execution was forced and predictable.

This was actually a pretty good fight scene. Better than most of the others so far. The Precure actually felt like the ones in control this time, with Sunny, March, and Beauty getting the wings and basically toying with Akanbe.

Third mascot get! Milk is a bit of an ass. She's got a real big attitude considering she's basically just a servant (and in training, at that!) Also she steals food, which is the greatest sin anyone can ever commit. ...She's still kind of cute though I guess.
Unlike Coco and Nuts, it seems she can't transform into a human (though I know this won't last forever, considering the little I'm aware of about the upcoming GoGo...) And the Cures are pretty shocked to learn from her that Coco and Nuts are omgPRINCES. My reaction to that one was "oh, did we not know that already?"
Mantis-man also shows up briefly to create a Kowaina out of...a park bench. Clutching at straws somewhat at this point, I feel.

Hm, I'm not sure I approve of mirai's low position in that ranking of yours. Feels a little odd ranking it against the Diva games at all to be honest, since it feels very much like a separate thing that distinguishes itself from the Diva series nicely with its full-length songs, different style of gameplay/scoring, multiple vocal options for many tracks, and most of all UNPARALLELED CUTENESS. That game is basically cajundeath in a box. <3
I can't fault Sega too much for not bringing the original mirai over, though, since with mirai 2 including all the songs and costumes from the first game and more, it's going to be pretty much obsolete once the second game comes out. So if they bring the second game to Western markets, it'll be all good! *doesn't get hopes up*
At any rate, though, the issue I'm talking about here isn't whether or not mirai gets brought over, it's that they decided to bring over F while neglecting its superior sibling f. There's just no excuse for that kind of nonsense.

Cardcaptor Sakura Movie 2 (Series END)
A HUGE improvement to the first movie and a wonderful end to this series which I've very much enjoyed watching for the better part of four months. The villain was still a bit lame but the conflict that she caused during the course of the movie was decent enough for it to actually feel like a sequel to the series instead of a side story. The animation was pretty top-notch during the opening scene and final battle, though like the first movie a lot of it looked like a better animated TV episode but this time put it more towards character expressions/reactions. The ending was a bit abrupt but I guess it ended in the only way this series could have,

I'm pretty much all empty inside now that I'm done with everything Cardcaptor Sakura so I'm going to continue my Hidamari rewatch to fill this endless void. Until we UEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE again, CCS.
