There's also a difference between denying a homosexual person the right to marry someone of the same sex and adopt a kid with them, and denying them the right to marry at all. There's a difference between denying someone with a genetic disease or disability the right to reproduce completely and telling a perfectly healthy person not to have a baby with their sibling.
You love who you love, be it man or woman, sibling or childhood friend. In so far as it causes those around them no harm, why should we deny anyone the right to marry the person they love?
You may find it gross, but so what? I find the idea of two guys having sex pretty damn disgusting(no offense) but you know what? I still support gay marriage.
Yes, I am a fan of Kirino. Is that the end of your argument? I can change my avatar you know, would that allow us to have a proper discussion?
Uh, not being able to have kids is the strongest evolutionary deterrent there is, really. If evolution was straightforward, gay people would probably have died out by now.The difference being, of course, that gay sex never results in offspring, whreas incest can - there's no particular evolutionary deterrent to gay sex (because of course you can always sleep with someone of the opposite gender) unlike incest.
So...?I am no zoologist, but Wikipedia also suggests that many animals display an aversion to incestuous relationships, although I guess that can't be easy to measure in animals where we don't have some level of social understanding.
Does being an only child somehow relate to wanting to expand civil rights and create a more free, accepting, open society?I think, essentially, once again you've reminded us that you're an only child
If so, I think I will have to convince my girlfriend that we only need one kid.
