I feel weird saying this about a mindless VN adaptation, but I'm rather impressed at how matter-of-factly those lesbian feelings were treated. Neither as a source of comedy or titillation.

Overall this adaptation was an incredibly flawed experiment in execution. It does not live up to whatever standard Amagami SS has set. 4/10

I still wonder if Kanon Maeda is a Key reference.

Speaking of Magical Girls, Corvo says that he's going to start Madoka Magica once he's finished with Utena. And he just finished episode 36.

Kotori is a nice girl , she is up there , actually i don't mind most ranking of date a live , except those putting origami on top ... she is idiotic and hollow, her motivation (in love ) are dubious at best and ( to spirits ) unfounded and out of proportion.

I haven't seen a good thing about her in term of plot , or attitude.
And since i'm even fruther in the books ( book 7 ) let me tell you that she doesn't even has a hint of character devellopement that i can note. She is like the only female character in the whole DATE-A-LIVE universe that stay the same and doesn't change , even for a bit.

I can't find anything positive about her , except her love for the MC that is "there" without any satisfactory explanation.

In short:

Origami place is at the bottom of the list because she doesn't do anything , isn't intresting and all the rest of the girls are just better than her.

Kotori got an upgrade late in the game. Origamis main sin is being in a show with much better girls. She would be top tier in animes with shittier girls.

Possibly the best twist in a Gundam series ever, and now that I've rewatched the series it isn't even an asspull. The revelation that

has some subtle build up and of course serious consequences. My one beef with this entire section of the show is that I feel

Rain and Domon's situation would have been better served if she had not seen him since prior to his match with Schwarz. If Domon's being a jerk about Allenby had kicked off the entire train of events, it would've made the whole thing that much more powerful, I think. Also, it would've been nice if the writers had said "Kyoji's anger over Dr. Mikamura's betrayal caused the Devil Gundam to malfunction" because then Dr. Mikamura and Mjr. Ulube would've been directly responsible for everything. Well, even more so. And it works better than just "The Gundam malfunctioned and went berserk."
