(Dead flat isn't bad, but it's better to have something than nothing. Both are of course better than any kind of large monstrosities.)
I think the correct ranking should be:
Marie > Nanako > Chie > Rise > Yukiko > Naoto > other random Social Link girls > Fox > Eri > Sayoko > Margaret
Not putting guys in the waifu rankings, but Alice!Teddie gets an honourable mention for being one of the most delicious traps ever, and TeddiexKanji is OTP (lol).

Huh. I didn't even realise there was ambiguity here; she always seemed pretty clearly female to me when I was reading the manga, and similarly so in the anime. A little searching reveals that apparently there was debate about her gender among the JP fans, though, and the author responded by saying that he'd decided it was "best not to make any definite statements" about her gender.
...That said, all the evidence points to her being intended as female. Her outfit seems noticeably feminine in style, there are definite signs of (very slight) breasts in some panels, and she's even shown wearing a skirt in one omake panel. Her first-person pronoun ("watashi") is gender-neutral but more usual for women, and her style of speech is fairly neutral but clearly leans towards the feminine at times.

Same, I just started yesterday. I was surprised on dated it looked (I remembered it in a different way), but it was fun.
Happens a lot with old shows, I kinda remember them more modern looking that what they really are.

The fun thing of AoT is that surprises me consistently, I never know what to expect from it.
Full Metal Alchemist: Brotherhood 10-14
Great show so far, very funny when it wants, but it doesn't hold punches when it wants to be serious and the action is great.
Rozen Maiden (2013) 1-3
Finally watched this. It's very competent so far, I wasn't expecting this level of visual finesse in a DEEN show, much less Rozen Maiden. But alas, the directing is skilful, the art direction is pleasant and it has a nice colour palette. It could use some more animation, but since I was expecting nothing I can't really complain about it.
The story so far is... intriguing? I don't know yet where they'll go with it, but hopefully it manages to stay relatively grounded and character-focused.

One episode remains to explain every last piece of bullshit in this series and resolve all this nonsense. Not only do I not believe it can be done, I am terrified of what pathetic attempts will be made.
I only pray the God of Mecha does not permit an open ending or sequel hook.

Full Metal Panic! Another Volume 5
Well that's that. I'm 100% caught up with the FMP! franchise, and I'm left sitting here waiting anxiously for volume 6 to hit shelves at some point.
I think Another really found its own identity, contrary to how I felt when I first started. They initially wanted this to be a series more about introducing cool new mechs and having them in physical combat simulations at DOMS, but things gradually kept building and they realized that wasn't a narrative structure that they could keep interesting for very long.
It's been completely different from FMP!, but I think that works to its benefit. I'm no longer comparing the two series, and instead enjoying Another for moving things in a different direction.
That being said, I always enjoy cameos/reoccurring FMP! characters.
. Given this day and age, I was worried that Another would become another harem series, but much to my surprise that isn't the case. Little Clara is just a badass little girl with a sniper rifle (lol), and Tatsuya's co-workers are a balanced mix of men and women. I've even warmed up to Lina, who has a unique arc in terms of the way she feels about Tatsuya and the reasoning for it.
The supporting cast is much stronger than I thought it'd be too, but going into that would be spoiler town.

Bones promised me a pretty mecha show set in one of my favorite series. What I got was awful. It's all a jumbled mess of fuck fuck fuck.
How could they? Why would they? Who would do that? I . . . I can't. I don't want to. It's wrong. The ending was all wrong and confusing and Renton's entire character was just so far off the rails that it wasn't even Renton. Why. Just, why.
