Probably the only one that cares, but the full version of Believe my Dice (William Twining, Dantalion, Sytry, and Camio) is pretty awesome.

Picked up Plastic Little for the infamous JIGGLE COUNTER so i can watch it the way "Jeezus" intended. However, it was bundled with Burn Up!, which looks to be the beginning of a four part series that'd be right up chet's alley going by the tagline alone.
Burn Up is godlike. Maybe its a bit of a case of nostalgic glasses but its really fun. A perfect show for OVA. Maya is amazing and so is Rio. You get to see Rio's tats in Burn up W.
Also Plastic Little is very :chet. Impressively so. Tita is a badass and the villain is a ruthless son of a bitch. Really loved the art style too.

Natsume Book of Friends Season 2 and Season 3 (end)
Spent most of the weekend running through both of these back to back (S3 looks quite good on Blu Ray). I think I would put Season 2 so far as the best season of the 3 I watched. From the first episode to the last, it really kept me glued to the tv with just about every episode making me get emotionally involved about it happy and sad. Season 3 still did this but it did have a few episodes every now and then that felt slightly not as good.

So far with Anohana as my favorite non game purchase from NISA. Hope s4 delivers.

Natori getting growing importance for the story felt like progress though it always seemed as if he harbored some secrets and such, which eventually came to pass over the events. Fortunately, he is great for Natsume and getting an appreciation of others who can see Yokai and what not. All the stories felt memorable and interesting. I wish the class president of sorts had a decreasing role and Taki could tone down the kitty love stuff as it is just good for a quick laugh from everyone commenting about bad taste. Gen with the snow bunny was a really good one.

Really was looking forward to Natsume finally telling his friends and family that he can see the yokai, but I guess its for a better day. The episode when he was crying to sleep cause of his friends while Tanuma was there really made me cry a lot because of his entire past he went through, and then even moreso when Toko history was revealed with him too and he finally feeling wanted by someone. Additionally Kitamoto and Nishimura there constantly opening up and getting him involved was one of the best developments for him beyond the yokai happenings. Their trips, learning to ride the bicycle, fishing, and etc. Guess they need to also spend the night sometime like Tanuma. Really enjoyable. Favorite yokai story there was the ones involving Matoba (the capturing and such) and then the one with Shibata from Natsume's past coming back and him helping with that issue. Glad Shibata remembered and they could become actually friends. Also seems every season has similar things, the trip to the hot spring and then at least one or two Natsume bath scenes, which season 4 must still have.

Apparently her name is Yaya, the main heroine of light novel series Machine Doll wa Kizutsukanai, which is getting an anime in the autumn. The novel illustrations (and therefore presumably original character design) are by Ruroo, who also did the illustrations for OreShura, and the anime character designs are by Watanabe Atsuko, who's also done character design for Acchi Kocchi and Juuden-chan.

I had my first two genuine laughs from this show.
Ill give this show one more shot, but honestly, I cant stand the main characters irrational hate towards those who arent suffering like her. Sure, I can empathize with some of the situations the main character has come across, but the way she acts and reacts to those situations out of spite and anger, I cant empathize with. It makes this show almost unbearable to watch at points.

Apparently the anime is going to cover the first two novels. It's pretty obvious where novels start and end in the manga, so those of us reading the manga should have a good idea of what the anime will contain.
It's a show about character antics first and character drama second.

This episode mainly served to build character bonds between the three Precure. Also, Cure Muse's contract required she make an appearance, so she did and then promptly left.

Black Jack: The Movie - Part 1/2
Everyone in this thread seems to have their own favourite feel good shows. Bunny Drop, Clannad, Aishiteruze Baby, etc. For me, it would have to be Osamu Tezuka's Black Jack. I always liked how the anime provided this heartwarming atmosphere despite having its suspenseful dark moments. I decided to finally check out the movie after so much procrastination, and also due to the fact that it's the only English dubbed thing involving Black Jack (much like Gintama with its movie) aside from the OVAs.
So a few minutes in and Black Jack's English VA is....okay at best. It's not terrible, but Black Jack always had this serious tone with his Japanese VA, and there was always something that felt somewhat commanding about him no matter what mood you saw him in.
Here, the English VA doesn't seem to really fit in with Black Jack's serious tone. He's trying, I can tell, but it's somewhat distracting. Thankfully, Pinoko's English VA isn't as bad as I thought it would be.
Other than that though, here's what is really surprising me about the movie so far. It is dark. I mean, really dark. The anime often didn't show the gory details of surgery, but they've opened up all the curtains with this one. The plot is much more darker than the standard Black Jack affair this time around as well. There's a big breed of "superhumans", who set Olympic records, but
This is some 60s Batman to Dark Knight levels of insanity in this movie so far. It's pretty good so far in terms of story. It's certainly not predictable in what's going on, and it's leaving me guessing so that's a good sign, but the movie is certainly lacking in the feel-good aspect of the show that I adored so far.

two years later they suddenly get severe medical symptoms, and this is where things get batshit insane. There's a guy vomiting blood, there's a woman who bashes herself to death on a wall, there's a guy who's heart explodes right before surgery. Holy Shit.
