Another is for folks who don't have consistently good bandwidth be able to still watch. Though in this case you can just as easily download the video from youtube.
Can't you just let it buffer a while in that case? If you have bad bandwith that isn't helping much to watch it on ilegall streams or download it illegally, yes?
Fate/Illya 1
Considering I know nothing about the Fate universe I'll just watch this for what it is and probably watch it again with a new mindset when I watch /Zero.
That being said, everything seems fine so far. Although, what was the point in having Rin being a magical girl if she can use magic as it is? Doesn't that make her one as it is, or am I looking too far into this...
Overall this is pretty good. It seems faster pace than the original series. I watched the first three episodes of the original and Mercury still had not been introduced. The OP is warming up to me.

Sometimes watching 720p/1080p on Crunchyroll is still annoying even with decent bandwidth because the player is pretty bad and the stream doesn't use your entire bandwidth.

It probably isn't a big deal for most people, but it's hard watching shows with a lot of dark scenes (Mushishi) because of the poor video quality. I get that it has to be streamable, but it still hurts to look at sometimes.
You don't have to tell us, I guess. People just want to watch the stuff at the same time paying users do. People get ridiculous in their defense.
Common arguments:
"Well, it's like watching TV. I already pay for that." - Yeah, fuck you, that's not how it works.
"Anime are too expensive" - Yeah, maybe, but you still have to pay for a product if you want to have it and the legal steaming stuff isn't that bad.
And my favorite:
"I don't like anime, why would I pay for it?" - WHY DO YOU WATCH ANIME

Nah, Crunchyroll only lets it buffer a (very) small amount of time in my experience.
I think thats how most works these days due to dynamic streaming.
Another issue probably is folks who want to watch on the go but have shitty bandwidth/caps/connection issues on their phone so downloading and then transferring it to their phone is their preferred option.
So Hana has a mech now, and someone other then Pink and Blue did something! We're getting somewhere. But Salty Dog is back now, kind of forgot they existed for a while
Yes in some cases. Lots of providers have caps that result in higher fees if you go over, speeds are typically not what is advertised and some will actually cut your speeds down if you use it too much. Most are expensive because competition here is awful.
I'm actually lucky the ISP I have is pretty good when it comes to internet but on the same ticket they have a monopoly on cable internet where I live so I'm boned if they decide to fuck over their customers one day.
Mocking mental illness? The only thing being mocked is SAO's complete inability to be taken seriously or to attempt to convey anything with weight or gravitas. The series lost that right long ago.
Anyone find it amusing in Barakamon - 03 that the villagers were talking with such thick accents the show had Japanese subs for the Japanese viewers so that they could understand?

Glad I don't pay for cable/satellite. There's nothing to watch IMHO except for maybe the news/weather. I am fine buying my anime BDs and DVDs, whether be domestic releases or imports.
Lol at anime being too expensive. "Anything more than $30 for a complete series is too much." Hope those people are glad with owning S.A.V.E. editions.
Never heard that last one. My sister-in-law did ask why there was, and I quote, "a naked angel boy" on the spine of my Heaven's Lost Property LE box last week. Here's the boxart spine in question.
Now THIS was an episode I wanted to see. Now I finally know what the big situation is and just what the hell is up with Eureka and the Gekkostate.
So I'm a little confused here. That matrix-inducing cloud thing that was the Coralian from episode 10 IS Eureka? I was aware that Eureka wasn't human, but the Coralian? So what, is a giant cloud that causes major damage Eureka's final form or something?
That would at least explain why the military wants to deal with her. But then again, isn't Anemone the same as Eureka if I remember correctly? What's the deal with her and the military if that's the case?
It's obvious right ? Who wouldn't trust puck ?
This is so obvious to the viewer that arrogance and overconfidence lead to failure that i cannot help but wonder who will realise about this new turn of events. I must admit puck is playing so far his cards right.
I now wonder what they 'll do with this sub-plot . We might have a worthy final opponent at this rate.
The kiltgangs are now assembled and backed up . I'm quite happy to see the gang together because that means that more stuff , more attacks , more complicated settings can happen. It's now obvious : we're moving the battlefield soon. Let's hope that this "Final destination" delivers.
That discussion was good. It actually show how thin the situation can be reversed when the situation comes since they might have reached the same conclusion as albion had they a support to fall back on when they retrieved their memories. I'm happy that captain earth doesn't forget to devellop both casts , the neotony and the kiltgangs
THE FIGHT
Very average fight , still pretty good transformation scene. I don't mind the long transformùation sequence since it's so well done. too bad that one was "abridged" in a way.
The fight was "not so cool". Maybe i had higher expectations but Hana had Homing laser beams in her neotony gun ..seriously. And she had the higher score in shooting . She also had a precog !
WITH SO MANY hjabilities , how the hell does they needed to use this plot device. Hezck i understand it was also forshadowed last episode BUT STILL. Battles don't need to cut this close !
That was a pretty good episode when i think about it. i like the way things are going . there are however so MANY FACTIONS AT PLAY here. I'd wish one would have been taken out of the picture already !
The magical girl made a wish and it happenned ..
That's not plot - armor i swear !
Can't wait for next week and the return of the belly button
The drama club is official! Although it seems like this whole plot has been in the background the whole time, and is only brought up to transition into the next arc.
Oh, are we going to focus on Okazaki's problems now? Would be a nice topic for a final arc.
Calling his son a companion. This is quite the rift.
lol Akio.
Cohabitation time!
If I had known this would happen, I would have screencapped Magimoji Rurumo episode 2.
I guess Big Dango Family is an accurate music choice for this scene.
Is it just me, or has the visual quality improved since the beginning of the series?
Odd logic there, Kyou.
Lol, that sound effects scene.
Oh great, little kids. This will improve the show, said no one ever.
lol, Sunohara's jealousy.
And now we're back to the robot. What does it all mean?
Looks like things are gonna be happening next episode.

Well I can understand it. Its pretty much why I have stopped buying video content on disc, aside from an occasional title in Christmas sales. Especially when 90% of my discs have been watched once or twice at best.

I fully understand everyone has different buying habits. I buy the series I want to support, and hope the series I stream help warrant a future physical release. I too don't often watch some series more than once after purchasing them, but what can you do owning 44 anime series along with 65 anime OSTs listen to and 100+ individual manga and LN volumes to read.
In which the show begins pushing towards the Hime/Seiji pairing even stronger. Apparently he sees Megumi as being like a sister to him, which means that's out of the question. And Yuyu's not being shipped with anybody besides food. She just enjoys watching all the love drama play out in front of her. The training camp two parter was fun, but it looks like it's going to be bleeding into next week. I can't remember the last time a Precure series had a romance subplot like this.
Cure of the Week: Rikka, poster girl for either shipping with the villains, shipping with her mascot, or shipping with Mana, depending on who you talk to.
I want to like Sailor Moon more but there are so many quality control issues that I notice while I'm watching it that detract from the overall experience.
Im not so sure. Streaming is something the new audience is familiar with. Why would they stream the old series again and then a new one? It doesnt make sense to remake a beloved series just for old fans especially if they have access to the superior old series. They are trying to reestablish Sailor Moon for a new generation of fans.
