Lots of man-service. To be expected given that the first episode from the first season was pretty heavy in the man-service. From the op it looks like they all get rivals and it's not just Haruka vs Rin. OP and ED are weaker than the first season.

Huh? What did I say? Did I screw up again? :(
Lol what?

Yeah. I've seen a lot of booty.

There are people on the internet that think its fun to play elaborate tricks on fans of animu during the start of a season by releasing episodes tagged as though their from trusted sources and padded to look like their the right size just so interested and deceived people can download them.

People who do this fancy themselves trolls and folks who do things for the lulz... the reality is that their idiots who can suck on a bag of dicks.

That sounds..... Incredibly horrible.

How the fuck does an AI get amnesia?

"Tell Daddy what you want."

Oh and Kirito is just as good at protection as Saya is.

Simple. A virus could delete it's memory or something and it will only get it back during a system restore to the last cached memory.

Or something along those lines.

But the memory would be permanently gone. You couldn't just regain it.

Oh and what the fuck, if you can access the GM system then why didn't you free everybody?

But the memory would be permanently gone. You couldn't just regain it.

Well, not all of it.

Hey you know what would have been cool? If GLaDOS was the one who trapped all the people in SAO. Have her hack into the system or something. You don't have to justify shit with GLaDOS. All she has to do is say it was all for science.

No. My expectations were low from the very beginning. But I admit I actually was kind of interested in seeing the ideas the first arc of SAO was putting into motion.

Even the second arc could be acceptable in its own right if the villain was a better villain and they removed the
incest.
And if they came up with a better reason as to why
Asuna is still trapped in the game

Seeing these horrible tropes in anime bringing down good potential does not make me happy. At all. It's actually kind of heartbreaking.

hate to say we told you so....
watch some Log Horizon. It should clear up any lingering effects.

I already ordered a Sinon prize figure. :(

When the scaled figure from Kotobukiya goes on sale, I'm going to pre-order her so hard.

Yeah I got my eye on that figures progress.

it's only been 2 episodes and Madoka is already being dumb. why did I even start it

Diebuster - END

loved that ending related to Gunbuster, also dat giga Nono. besides that I didn't like the main characters very much but still a good show, enjoyed it.

So a series of computer errors is able to be overcome just because?

Oh wait I forgot this is SAO.

Well I was talking about "actual" real life computing, it doesn't seem that much of a leap in imaginary SAO land that computers and data storage would be advanced enough to have multiple levels of redundancy and safe-guards in a networked environment to allow certain data and processes to be out of sync enough that exploits could be executed to pull back data. This is even a more likely exploit in the real world to day when we talk about memory literally being backed by databases where you normally don't delete actual data but rather mark it as deleted for forensic auditing purposes -- in this case, it a very real possibility to pull back "deleted" data from a database if you go back and mark it as undeleted.

LOOK MAN! I ain't saying I have real answers for you here. I've at no point ever believed computing in any anime is represented accurately. You have to have suspension of disbelief at some point if you're going to enjoy a work of fiction.

The ending twist resonated with me as well. the gun-buster series has always ended strong and are on top of the heap of memorable giant robo fights and endings for me. I have nothing but love for the.

I would love to see someone take on a new (NEVER A REMAKE) addition to the story. I have no idea what it would be. I know it's not possible with how the marketing machine works but I would love it if viewers where never made aware of the relation and then they just drop the bomb somewhere in the series and blow our collective minds :)

If you're going to enjoy SAO you have to suspend more then disbelief

Wise words.

hur hur hur :p

SAO is one of the best animes of 2102(?). I say that non-ironically because I enjoyed much of it. To coop Dave Chappell, If you don't like SAO then something's wrong with YOU! I wish SAO would approach me to do a commercial -- "I'll do it for free SAO!"

Speaking of magical girl anime, I just started watching Sailor Moon S. I'm liking it much more than the second season so far; it's more exciting and interesting. The animation seems much nicer, too!

Right, it is possible to lose and gain data. You have to run a program though (or have some sort of Cloud oriented infrastructure) to recover the data. The problem is the way the AI (Yui) works in that she somewhat loses and gains her memory due to plot convenience.

Anyway I'm now done with these shit episodes. Time to move onto SAO2.

Having color commentary from Amara as a tragic situation like that was playing out was a bit of a weird tone contrast, but that was a nice way to end the first cour. I won't be watching Aldnoah or Argevollen, so I'm glad to have at least one mecha show in my rotation going into the summer season. And the next episode is a beach one and about Hana? I'm interested.

Well lets look at it these way. You are a software with no pointer to your original data (you lost your memory). To actually find information that would be yours, you would have to execute some long running query that will look through all data until it finds something that may have a signature that belongs to you and then you would use that a reference to all related data to you... the first and longest step is to find the information with some signature. This is the basis of most recovery processes in real life.

Sorry to beat this horse to death. It's clear that the series didn't do a good enough job to convey this to you. I have a problem with the series rushing through things I genuinely found interesting with little to know explanation. Where I differ from most people is that I instill enjoyed much of what the series was rushing to get to. I didn't read the LNs so I never had any preconceived notion of how it was supposed to be either.

Also, screw that SAO 2 premier line. I wanted that cool autograph signing board that Kayos posted way back, but it was limited and the showing had a premier badge line too. No way I was going to get it. The regular badge line took place outside and I wasn't waiting hours while I could hang out with my friends and watch it tomorrow.

If you wanna watch a real train anime, watch Tetsuko no Tabi. No romance or fan service messing things up. Just hot, steamy train porn.

I still can't believe real train otakus exist no matter how much I see or hear of them. I think trains are awesome too but damn!

Every type of transportation has a hardcore fanbase, so why not trains? I mean trains are the manliest method of transportation.

Edit: Outside of traveling through alternate dimensions.

It's pretty crazy how just about everything can pick up a following. It's pretty funny how there was that glasses anime. Didn't watch, and also heard it bomb so hard.
