How the fuck does a light novel writer afford a house like that? Shit imagine the animators making jack shit animating a show about an animator making money?

I'd say this was parody but it feels like the Room or Plan 9 from outer space.

The series is a complete miss. More compared to the OG. The cast just isn't there and their pacing has been erratic to say the least. This episode is a good example, where the Jail break episode does a bait and switch, in turn lasting another episode of them breaking out. While here, we go from Dragon Village to Angel Heaven in 2 minutes. They bring up the Granny, her story, and I'm expecting some adventure again... to nothing. The series either seems to stall at odd moments or literally jump from place to place at breakneck speed. They land, meet angels, get to soul heaven, go see kid, end. Of course with many evil smiles from Angels. Then they introduce Anal again, whose been like MIA for the past 4, 5 episodes? In Demon Heaven? There is no build up to anything either. It's just shit happening at this point.

This arc moves a lot faster than I remember. Either that or I'm forgetting things. Super excited for what's coming next. Also they still can't really capture the intensity of how Shigaraki looks in the manga when he goes all crazy face.

It's not even a whole scene; it's just a single shot done for comedy to establish that she's still getting into the same kind of trouble as before.

It's presented among a montage of scenes from the orphanage as an example of what daily life is like there, more or less. It's simultaneously a cue as to how fucked the world's social norms are and a "laugh at Riko because she got in trouble again" moment. I think the casual reference to it in the first episode was a better way of handling it than this.

Wow that story from Leader took up so much time, it was so interesting I didnt realize it went by. I wish we had more of the backstory.

I just dont think I can fully get behind the story just yet, the abyss just has no real purpose beyond just vain riches and fame, instead of being something that is world ending or apocalyptic.There needs to be more drama and suspense.

I think the anime has lots of good ideas and a good premise but it feels like they are speeding through the events so fast that the suspense and mystery reveals lose impact. Im interested in many parts but its just a bit too fast.

I dont know if they really need three deaths.

Best creation has appeared, hopefully he makes amends and becomes friends with the good guys.

Blitz background was interesting, would definitely want a full ova of his story.

I didnt know if we needed a dating game creation, but the creator brought a breath of fresh air to the rather serious characters.

Yes a Kensuke Hasekura episode and filled with great scenes, I hope Kensuke decides to go the Hasekura route (though I wish Kensuke could be with Setagawa)

Okay that was intense, and went much more differently than I expected.

I still want to know if our lead character ever comes to the real world?

was shocked how the mastermind murderer could use the power so fast,
that seemed easy, though maybe there was more to it since our mc could only kill him using traditional physical means

I've got no problems with anime mocking itself or even going for cheap gags but this one is on a whole different level.

Perfect example is love tyrant. Its pretty much the same shit but you can tell its a joke, Eromanga is treating this shit like its fucking serious and its fucking nuts.

What is it with these writers where they want to fuck their sisters so badly?

S2 pretty much covers the prologue of the current ongoing arc in the manga. The pace of this arc is much slower than the first arc in space.

I think that the Thunderbolt Sector arc was much better suited for this ONA release format, but the South Seas Alliance arc was an improvement in terms of pacing for the manga. With the Thunderbolt Sector arc, the first volume set everything up nicely but by the second volume almost everyone was dead already. I hope the official translations catch up soon.

I know the LN order and where Kizu is in that order, should I go ahead and watch it or just wait until I get through Koyomi (aka airing order)?

Kizu movies can be watched at any point after the first season Bakemonogatari, so completely up to you.

I'd watch it now. It gives a lot of direly necessary context to the whole Araragi-Shinobu relationship. Particularly needed for last arc of Owari I'd imagine.

So basically everything is going off at once now. How could this possiby end up any other way than with everyone in Hosu dead and the city razed to the ground? But at least Deku is finally grasping All For One. So that's pretty nice.

It was glorious, yup. Fighting scene was absolutely bonkers. I wish I had the time and will to go through with a rewatch of everything that is out so far in chronological order. I bet a lot of things would make so much more sense then, but then again, I am happy enough as is. I don't think I care enough about continuity in this series, as much as I love it.

Had put this on the back burner since CR is adding episodes at such a glacial pace, but finally reached their current one.

KAITO is still amazing, his annihilating double cipher stream was extremely incredible.

Easily one of the best showings for this show. The direction here was on a level above where it normally operates, which is good since events have reached their boiling point. Iida's anger and frustration is really effectively conveyed.
