That isn't a filter meant to disguise the look of game until the reveal on Thursday, no not at all. That is how the actual game is gonna look like! Because why wouldn't it? People love games with orange filters.

Agreed wholeheartedly. It looks like a few people have moved on from port begging to just downplaying/critiquing every little thing about SO like they did with Titanfall. Only this time we haven't even seen a lick of gameplay for any of these criticism to be based on.

It's a trailer, and the image IQ isn't that good. It was the best I could find.

Anyway, Phil Spencer has already said on twitter that the builds he's been playing, in his opinion, look better than the trailer. That was a few months ago.

People can be really hard to please (to be fair I'm among them..."Sexburger" as a first environment picture posted just made me sigh and more or less ignore everything after) but at least stay consistent. The character designs, whether you like them or not, are far from the disgustingly bland Fuse characters and are actually more exaggerated than the original Overstrike concept stuff. I'm always in for a good Fuse hate party, but Sunset Overdrive really looks like Insomniac learned from the mistakes with what they did to that game. I'll never buy it myself, but I'm still at least a little interested in it and it stands out as potentially a game I'll miss out by not getting an Xbox.

A Fuse/Overstrike comparison to show everybody how far off they are in comparing SO to Fuse:

Based only on the single screens shown the Sunset Overdrive characters definitely fit in more with the Overstrike crew than what was released with Fuse.

Based off a teaser site and the original reveal trailer. Boring looking game, boring looking environments (even if just CGI), boring graphics. Not a scratch on their earlier stuff.
