Mostly they're following after Apex and the community is going to decide on only so many move/movesets to avoid breaking the competition. Personally I always wanted custom moves in the professional scene because to ignore them is to say that the scene is too insular to attempt change.

So were getting Sadako character for KI after aganos.
Since the last movie, it's a form achieved from 6 good-hearted Saiyans combining their strength for one of them to reach the form temporarily, it's not a permanent state, and it's referred to as a god state because they didn't know what else to call it.
Saiyans were all mostly primitive evil dirtbags who only wanted power or money, it's part of why very few of them ever actually reached a significant level of power until Goku came along, as it turns out their way of life was stunting most of their potential, in the movie it's implied a group of Saiyans managed to cause someone to achieve the state a very long time ago when they were rebelling against the Saiyan way of life but it didn't last long enough for them to be successful.
And that's about the gist of why that form exists, I don't know how I remember all this crap.
By introducing a transformation with a trigger that is dumber than the non-canon one.
I mean, control over your natural berserk state in super saiyan form vs power of saiyan friendship.

Unlocking custom moves in Smash 4 is so boring. It's the only reason I haven't messed around with them yet.
Eh...I don't think they should ignore custom moves. It will help separate it from the other games. People have always been kind of complaining that no smash will ever live up to Melee. But on the flip side, they should also be willing to try some new things to see it works out.
If it's broken, then that tournament is ruined, that sucks, but at least the tried.

Yeah, its a long process. You're probably aware but Nairo has a playlist where he shows off all of them here. Some seem really interesting and im sure exploring their usage would be fun, I just never feel compelled to go through any Single Player and unlock them.
I expected something way cornier. I actually kinda want to see it

Not aware of Nairo, I'll check them out later when I have time, atm I'm just trying to get as many as I can while completing the challenges. Got like 5 or 6 left and their mostly collect all music/custom moves etc. and also that stupid bump in to metroid twice on 1 smash tour game.
