Super Mario 3D World - Introduction video

This looks a bit stupid.

Looks awesome. Haven't played a Mario since the so-so NSMB on the DS, so if I were to get a WiiU eventually I guess I could play two Galaxies, two NSMB, and then this... that's a lot of Mario.

I could be mad with the game still to come, but what I've been already foretasting the most is 3dWorld's DLC. It will be glorous beyond imagination.

How the hell was Sonic 8.5 gigs? Or better question: WHY the hell was Sonic 8.5 gigs?
Part of any development cycle is optimising. Making things tighter, more efficient, no bigger than they need to be. Many of the problems Lost World seems to suffer from suggest a faulty development cycle, be it cut short or not managed well enough.

I finished it and yep, the game does feel rushed, especially the ending.
Or Sonic games are just mediocre overall.

So goooooooooooooooood.

This game is just LOADED with so many great and subtle little animations to give the characters life and personality. No body is better at that than Nintendo. A lot of times you can see them following enemies and objects with their eyes and heads in a very believable way. Luigis Mansion Dark Moon was loaded with them too.

I was about to mention Luigi's Mansion, but then you did it yourself. Nintendo truly are the masters of everything character related.

This game looks filled to the brim with Nintendo goodness. I gotta say, I haven't paid $60 for a brand new game in years, but this one may break that cycle.

Go pick up a WiiU and Mario Galaxy.

Do it.

Now.

At this point I'm wondering if they made the original E3 trailer purposely underwhelming to make the impact of the second trailer far more mind-blowing.

This game is gonna make me buy a Wii U. Not really all that keen on buying a console for a single game or two (the only other Wii U exclusive I'm currently interested in is Pikmin 3), but I know it will be getting more games I can't miss later on. It's gonna be a PS4 + Wii U generation for me, just like last time (PS3 + Wii). Now I'm just hoping for a decently priced bundle with this game in it.

Big band > orchestra

Come at me

Nope. The music is very clearly a huge step down from the wonderous compositions of the Galaxy games, it's not even close.

Looks fucking ridiculous

The Mii Ghost data is a ridiculously smart feature. Racing your friends best times is the next best thing from online co-op.

Still wish it had online co-op though.

I'll be honest with you guys. This might sound harsh to some ears, some readers might be even upset, but whatever ... I'd gladly play this particular video game.
