The Xbox One arcade sticks made by Hori and Razer are using the same protocol and enumeration that Mad Catz created with MS. So if the TE2 works, theirs will as well.
Are those port delays still going on?
:lol. They may have finally settled on a contract just last week but we'll be feeling the effects of the LA port strikes for months and months. I'm dealing with containers of food going bad that are still on the water after four months. Other ports are threatening strikes now as well.that ended.
Not in stock yet.
I broke down...VLX pre-ordered. I'm not happy about getting billed up front though.
did you get it through Arcade Shock?

Looks like the Hori and the TE2 have delay over the dualshock 4 which I find funny.
I'm not even sure if any credence should be lent to these tests.

RAP 4 Kai out of stock on the Hori store. That was fast.
Mine is scheduled to arrive next Tuesday so others may get theirs sooner.
No word on the Amazon one yet. Hopefully all Hori's stock cleared the port together and is just getting distributed to retailers this week. (if that's how it all arrives, no idea)
Looks like TE2s are sold out too.
Id just wait for Amazon personally.
They could restock sooner than you think.
The one from the Hori store I just ordered this morning and got the shipping notification this evening.
My remaining Amazon order is from shortly after they went up.
We're still trying to obtain the following itemyou ordered on February 13, 2015 (Order#).
"HORI Real Arcade Pro 4 Kai for PlayStation 3/4"
Still want it? We'll keep on trying. To keep your order for this item open, please click the link below. Otherwise, we'll cancel your order on April 04, 2015, if we haven't located it by then.
Amazon just sent me an Email asking for approval to keep my V4 Kai order:
I just went ahead and placed an order on Arcade Shock instead (since Hori is out of stock). I'll leave the Amazon order hanging til I get a shipping notification from Arcade Shock.
Except if the numbers are completely faked (which could be tested, but I don't see why they would so that), and assuming the details about the games are correct (I have no idea if they are, since I don't know GG, but again, why wouldn't they?), there's very little to say against the protocol, which is explained in detail.I'm not even sure if any credence should be lent to these tests.
I'm not sure anything under half a frame is really an issue... But the experiment itself is interesting, and i guess identifying *really* slow sticks can be of interest for some players...I don't think those tests are worth anything, personally.

I'm not a techhead or anything and don't understand the explanations. I do, however, have friends that are, and they say the method the dude is using is flawed.
I couldn't explain it, but I'll take their word for it, and the empirical data of owning tons of sticks and boards and never noticing a thing.![]()
cancelled my hrap 4 kai from amazon and went through arcade shock instead.
I just spoke to Amazon chat regarding the Kai delays, and I was told that they had just started to receive their shipments so I should be getting mine in a couple days or so. They also bumped my order from 2 day shipping to 1 day shipping, so if you guys want you could open up a chat with them now and see if they match that. He assured me that changing the shipping speed wouldn't affect my priority in any way.
yea Arcade Shock are sending them out. I bought one yesterday and it shipped last hour.
Dang... I can't buy VLX model right now!!
Will this product still pre-orderable until release date? ;(
Their own expectations were that it would not last a week. I think they put it up on the 28th. So yeah, that probably won't be possible.
Do you really think they'll only be up until tomorrow? The release being so far out I would hope they'd keep them up until mid March at the earliest.
There's definitely demand for sticks right now and not a lot of people want to pay $300+up front this early.
The $300+ up front definitely sucks.

Budgeting, it's a lot easier to put aside some money if you know in advance than to simply cough it up out of the blue. You have to pay it anyway so what difference does a couple of months make?

It would also be a lot more expensive if bank interest rates hadn't completely gone down the drain in the last few years I suppose.
I don't think it really has to do with having a tight budget, though even if you did one proposition is better than the other. If your budget is that tight, maybe a $300 joystick isn't the best idea.
