You guys have gotten to comfortable, thats what sakurai expects, sakurai was releasing games to coincide with launch dates and anniversaries before X and y aswell, its gonna happen again, and we're gonna cry.

I've trained myself at this point to expect the absolute worst and then some, so that I end up pleasantly surprised when good news comes. I personally believe that the final roster will just be the characters that have been revealed so far minus Mega Man because Capcom will inevitably do something stupid that will result in him being cut from the final version.

Actually, personally, the "worst" for me is using a Nintendo Direct to announce Diddy Kong.
THEN it's no character announcement.
Diddy being announced on a direct takes the chance away from a Newcomer reveal.

Would no one else like these guys to appear in a new main line game as a boss, back ground cameo or anything? I'd love to see them again but chances are they won't even get the Mario sports treatment. Probably won't even get to be in the DK spin offs either. Their only other appearances were in the form of stickers in Brawl right?

Yeah like if the Wing Pikmin was next in line when you use up B the Wing Pikmin could pick Olimar up and fly around a little bit. It can easily be punished, but it would pose a different recovery method.
Also when you throw the Wing Pikmin it would fly horizontally instead of in an arc like Luigi's fireballs in comparison to Mario's fireballs.
Rock Pikmin I guess can just be the stitch face of Olimar's pikmin and can be stupidly strong when thrown.
Ha I used to love those games. The bosses were like a different kind of Punch-Out!
