Aw man... Usually I'm happy with items in smash no matter what they are... But the fairy in the bottle just rubs me in a wrong way. Seems a little superfluous. Plus, my idea for a Cucco item now seems a little more distant =(

Going back to the fighting game archetype discussion we had earlier, it'd be nice if we have a status effect type character whose focus is on buffing themselves and debuffing opponents.

Maybe the Pokemon Trainer could be that character. Charizard could leave a burn on foes which halves damages. Ivysaur can poison people which will take damage for every few steps the foe makes. Then Squirtle can use withdraw and up it's defense so it can take more hits.

? In Zelda picking up a heart container will fill up your hearts in addition to giving you an extra heart. Fairies refill some hearts or all hearts depending on the game. If anything the heart container should be more powerful than a fairy.

I reorganised it (and remembered to put in Toon Link this time!) so it's Brawl-Melee-Newcomers. I think this covers basically everyone of note. Just imagine there's a Random option by pressing a button on the controller or something.

Also that is a shitload of newcomers so this roster really wouldn't happen.

You could carry it and float around with it like the umbrella and it could act like Mr. Saturn and be knocked around relentlessly without vanishing.

Only catch being of course if it is fucked with enough it will cause a swarm of chickens to attack in full force. Like Unown.
