We already got Mewtwo once, i'd rather play a new character unless they overhaul the entire
character and give it some sort of mega evolution moveset. Even then i'd still go with Palutena. Smash needs more women.

I don't see it being all that worth it considering it'd just introduce more human(oid) characters, powers aside, but I could absolutely see Hades and Palutena both making it in - Hades probably staying a hidden character along the lines of Mewtwo and Ridley. Source: the Kirby franchise got two newcomers in Brawl, and guess who worked on that franchise!
Also, to make sure rage and delicious salty tears prevailed over hitting the best of both words, I'd combine Mewtwo and Lucario's movesets and make Mewtwo an unlockable skin for Lucario just to see all the nerd rage that would ensure.

I can definitely see Hades getting in. Sakurai created him so there'd be some personal bias there, plus he's a major new character which we're lacking in. The newest we have so far are Wii Fit Trainer and Rosalina which both debuted before Brawl's release.
His chances are even better if Nintendo plans to continue the series (even if it's without Sakurai).

She's even featured in a giant float used at a Japanese festival to promote the game.
Kid Icarus had one new decently successful game in the last 20 years.
And yet people are seriously wanting three characters from it instead of something else like a Ray-MK from Custom Robo.

That sounds like a great idea for Impa. Like somebody said a few pages ago, I don't know if modeling works that way, and by that I mean taking attributes from more than one character and applying it to another, but I am no expert. Anybody with experience with modeling want to weigh in on this matter?
Anyway; an entirely new Sheika in the form of Impa would be amazing and I would main that. Smoke bombs, ninjie stars, and the like would be cool too.
