My biggest issue with Dark Pit is that he is a clone in every sense of the word.
Black Hair and Black Wings is all that he has different in terms of appearance that are very noticeable. If he would have been designed to wear some armor or something I wouldn't have cared at all.

Potential. Dark Pit had a unique moveset too, but he ended up as nothing but a clone with only a Final Smash and victory theme to call his own. They could easily pull the same thing with Dark Samus. It's why I'm a bit apprehensive on actually wanting her as a fighter. Yeah, her AT moves are pretty indicative of what she could do, but I wouldn't get too hopeful about it.
Also, her being more interesting is a bit subjective, lol.

This reminds me, a long time ago I had made a comment about how the characters are pretty evenly distributed amongst different time periods/ eras. Again, this was months ago and I had observed some holes that were filled in by Dark Pit, Lucina and others. While I split it up differently going by console eras and not 3-5 year intervals, I do love how All-star split up the time period.
Although I find it curious how well distributed everything adds up. People say a certain character never took the spot of another character but I can't help but wonder if some characters were decided upon due to their time period. The 2007-2013 one in particular were padded with two clones, one of which certainly didn't take that much effort. Not to make a crazy statement like some characters were cut due to being in a specific time period. However, I do wonder if that played a part in the decision process. More so in particular with the clones.

At the very least, Sakurai and co. seem to had no problem recycling a lot of Brawl audio (voices, victory themes, even the menu sounds!).
I'm guessing the huge number of characters put those low on the priority scale. :/

Yeah... with the AT already being named Dark Samus, I doubt it's something Sakurai would do. Dark Samus just has so much moveset potential judging by her AT alone, and she would make a great addition to the Metroid cast. Too bad it'll likely never happen. Makes me curious as to whether we'll ever get a newcomer for the franchise or not. Seeing that Sakurai is so adamant about keeping Ridley away from a playable status. Pff.

- Do the Mii characters come with all custom moves unlocked, unlike normal characters?
- Does Palutena come with all custom moves unlocked, unlike normal characters (stream viewer said yes to this but additional confirmation would be nice)?
- I know you can't use Mii characters in For Glory. However, can you use Palutena's custom moves in For Glory, unlike normal characters?

How do team colors work for Bowser Jr.? Does being on a different team change the Koopaling? Or does it just put the outline color around the character and you can choose whichever Koopaling you want.

Shadow Pokémon is a thing, thanks to Pokémon XD: Gale of Darkness where you could steal trainers shadow pokemon and purify them.
Also now that I think about it, no Cosmic Witch reference for Rosalina is disappointing. Also even though it was likely too late, Peach should become Pink Gold Peach when she grabs the metal box item.
Team color no longer forces a color change, instead character outlines will be colored.

Just had a flawless 4p match. Maximillian said he didn't get a single 4p match that was good, and I've had nothing but good matches. No stutter like he said.
