I don't think some gaf members understand that some Smash fans are not necessarily cisgender men who only play men. It's not hard to imagine people rolling their eyes at more males being added to an already vastly male roster.
In game she tends to find unfunny jokes or non-jokes hilariously funny and goes into a laughing fit like that.
Its annoying and I think she is the worst Persona 4 character

That said, I'd rather not restrict female entries in weird ways that we don't bother restricting the male ones. Considering the usual representation of women in Nintendo games and how wide people will go for their 'waifu' tastes it would be slim pickings indeed (I also guarantee there's probably a good portion of people who consider Midna their 'waifu' or something :s )

i mean i guess you can say you like the game but not the character, but i at least feel that the two are strongly associated with their respective games

Still interested in the game. Most worried about the analog stick issue. Now I really am hoping for a demo to drop.
I like Rosalina because she literally blows galaxies out of her dress. Palutena, I like because she's hilarious and so very self aware.
Waifus haven't been added to the game yet. Call me when
I don't know why they wanted to differentiate the two like that. Are they really afraid people will only know that there is only a 3DS smash and not a Wii U version or something?

I really don't understand the Rosalina hate. She's probably the most interesting character in the Mario series to come around in the past decade. Granted I would have preferred Toad or Paper Mario, but Rosalina is not a bad character by any means.

All I know is the last 4 player game of Mario-kart I played had 3 of us playing Rosalina so there's no hate around where I live XD
She's always struck me as a more up-to-date take on Peach to be honest: she just seems cooler, classier and a bit more modern in general (things like the hair-style, her attitude, her dress, etc) :3

No cisgenderes means you identify with the biological sex you were born with. Think about it like Strait being the opposite of gay and cisgendered being the opposite of transgendered

smash 64: i didnt know everyone except for mario,dk.jiggs and pikachu i was also pretty young then although it seems my friends knew more then i did lol
in melee: fire emble, ice climbers, game and watch were the ones i didnt know about
brawl: It was kid icarus and rob(i kinda count his games lol)
It started in some anime that the internet latched onto or something.
Anyway, how about that Smash? I'm still dead set on getting a 3DS version. Unless I can get a good deal on a Wii U during Black Friday of course.
Now I know what Toriyama sees when he plays other games that are not FFXIII.

FWIW, I feel like if your franchise got mentioned in the first trailer's hype sound off, you should have at least three characters namely the main character/most iconic character, the best support/second most well known character and the longest running villain/rival. If you're Mario/Zelda/Pokemon you can have a higher upper limit (four as per Brawl, 5 as per Smash 4).
It's also the reason why I always found it weird that people are so adamantly against the idea of multiple folks from a single series jumping on board.
Also, Rosalina hate (as in real hate not gentle ribbing like what happens in the Mario Kart thread) is sooooooo weird to me. The Mario series goes for like a decade and change without introducing a character Nintendo supports as a fifth musketeer and then when we get one (with a pretty charming premise) suddenly everyone hates how popular she is? @_@

Nuh-uh, easy mistake but cisgender just means you identify as your sex, though I've seen some people use the term with such venom you'd almost think it was an insult sometimes :/
