I usually main Link, but when I'm not playing 1 on 1, then Snake is my choice. Its just great to plant claymores on people an activate them on their face. And of course burying landmines and forgetting about them only to walk over it myself. That shits just funny.

As far as I understand it, you can play Balloon Fighter in the game with 4 player-battle.
So wait... are we agreeing that this is a brand new mode for the game (play a weird version of balloon fight using villagers) or that he recreated it by doing 3-4 player FFA on this stage using only villager and only UP B.

We could get 1 newcomer trailer for august normal direct and 2+ for september smash 3ds direct.
Gematsu says we have 3 left, right? Shulk, Chrom, Chorus kids.
What other events are between reveals? When's gamescom and TGS? On phone so can't check easily.

Yeah, all major events are after 3DS game, which supposedly has same roster, so everything has to be done during a direct, if at all. I really doubt EVO will be anything, honestly.
There are a few more options: We get 0-1 newcomer reveals before launch (like chrom) and then the 3DS game comes out and sometime between 3DS and Wii U we get the trailers for all remaining newcomers - showing off their Wii U versions. It's a possibility that someone like Chorus men is best discovered in the same way that Game and Watch was and then they get a trailer post-launch.
The other possibility is the free-parity-DLC where characters aren't on the 3DS one but are a free update after launch when Wii U one comes out. This seems unlikely though, but it's still always a possibility. 3DS comes out without 1-2 characters - Nintendo direct w/ reveal trailer - says 'You can download them for free on 3DS RIGHT NOW."
Lol. He's the man who hated Mario 3D world. His opinions are weird. He also wants Layton in smash, which is cool... except that he's a level 5 character and not property of nintendo.

I think Layton would be a pretty awesome third party rep, despite not having a lot of history. He's so closely associated with Nintendo, especially in the West, that he'd fit right in.
I think so too, but in his latest video he fails to mention the fact that layton is not a nintendo IP. It comes off as him not knowing that, even if he actually does.

Mii really isn't all that shocking, it was kind of expected, while a bunch of people didn't want them in. Including me. Sure the title Mii Fighter was pretty unexpected, with three varieties to choose from.
I have never heard of bitblock. I've heard of other 'block' games. Lol.

Yeah, 3 things point to him being legit.
- Wii fit trainer AND megaman - each incredibly unlikely on their own and even more unlikely together.
- Pokemon from X/Y - sakurai revealed that they originally had a slot for a pokemon from X/Y and chose a starter based on artwork. They did not know the name at the time, just like the leaker.
- Calling them a "Mii Fighter" rather than Mii.

Oh! We're talking about the leaker here. In that case, yeah, the guy has an actual source. He's gotten everything correct, especially with some crazy names like Wii Fit Trainer/Mega Man, Chorus Men would be the next big thing.
Plus called out Mii Fighter, before it was revealed to be that. I mean, how can you not believe him?

But what the hell were him and GameXplain doing trying to force their opinion on others and reinforce their dislike towards 3D World. Especially them telling people it is not better than the Galaxy games like it's a fact. Extremely poor showing by both of them.
Anyways, I dislike WiiFolderJosh because of his terrible arguments.
I remember that video. That GameSpot reviewer was so off about the controls lol.

I may have exaggerated it or missed some details a bit lol. But that is how I perceived that video. I think it had to do with other reviews giving it high scores (9/10; 10/10) and saying it is better than the Galaxy games and them just not being able to accept that.

Last year I was subletting an apartment that had the perfect desk setup so I could really easily use the touchscreen map. Haven't played the game as much since then, I feel like I won't be able to beat my high score with another setup lol. It's amazing though! They just need to actually release Pikmin again though, NPC Pikmin 1 is like impossible to find. Maybe GCN VC?
I can kind of understand that if it was right after the games release, I kinda felt the same way right after finishing it. But after going back to Galaxy, I think 3D World might actually be more fun to play.
It's fine. I just tried to warn him to not get his hopes up for those characters.

- I think everyone is putting way too much stock into the Lucas getting cut thing. Sakurai hates cuts. And up until the most recent leak, we had no reason to believe he was cutting anyone (except maybe Snake, Ivysaur, and Squirtle) seeing as so many characters people considered to be on the chopping block were revealed (Ike, Lucario, Toon Link). Also, we have reason to believe that this leaker's information is a little dated. Which means it's still valid (sorta kinda), but things may have changed (and almost certainly have, as games in development do). Plus, Sakurai wanted to cut Ness in Melee and replace him with Lucas (citation needed, I can't remember where I saw this). At the very least, he wanted Lucas in Melee but couldn't make it work due to the Mother 3 delays. So this is a character Sakurai has wanted to be in since Melee.
- The wording on whether or not the leaker has already revealed all the newcomers is ambiguous at best. If the only newcomers we have yet to see are Chrom, Shulk, and Chorus Kids, then that would mean Smash 4 would be introducing 14 characters (if you count Mii Fighter variations, which I do). A respectable number, for sure. But I pegged Sakurai as just a tad more ambitious with the roster in this entry, regardless of his statements on the matter. This game's main attraction is the characters playable, so while I wouldn't be upset (not by a long shot) if this were the final host of newcomers, it would honestly surprise me a little, just because it doesn't reek of that Sakurai Ambition (TM) that is present in every aspect of all his games. Now please don't misinterpret this to mean I think Sakurai has to add X number of characters for me to consider his game ambitious. It's just a feeling I have about the man's philosophy on making games.
