But the same could be said with Naruto by making a GENO mii

This + Gunner Mii is so happening.

Answer to whatever you feel like!

If Ganondorf was to be given a completely new moveset.. Would you have him using a sword/dark magic/both?

Mostly Dark Magic with some trident thrown in as stated way back

Kyzon said:
Honestly, all Ganondorf needs is 3 new special moves and he'd be set imo.

Neutral Special - Dead Man's Volley: When tapped, Ganondorf throws a singular magicball. Most Melee attacks can reflect the projectile. It will get stronger with each bounce.

If the attack is charged up (cannot be saved) then Ganondorf will throw 5 at once which are harder to reflect overall due to them going on weird trajectories

Side Special - Flame Choke: Same as in Brawl on ground. In the air though Ganondorf will continue his momentum as he grabs his opponent. He can then suicide them off the stage or what not.

Up Special - Possessport: Ganondorf teleports through the Twilight. If he teleports directly on the opponent (think Jiggypuff rest hitbox) then he and the opponent switches spots. If not, then it's a normal non damaging teleport.

Alternative Up Special - Trident Vanish: Ganondorf throws his Trident in one of 8 directions, he then teleports to the trident after it reaches a certain point.

I'd be quite open to many other Up Specials for him though. This was just what came off the top of my head

Down Special - Gerudo Drop: Ganondorf punches the ground which creates a shockwave around him. It pops up enemies and gets stronger the closer they are to him. Range is about one Bowser away from him in either direction. Only hits grounded enemies. When done in the air Ganondorf crashes down fist first into the ground. Strong sweet spot is on his fist, otherwise it acts like the grounded one when he hits the ground.

RE: Ganondorf: I like Kyzon's ideas for replacing three of his specials (see above). And really, with custom moves, they can retain his original moves as alternate options.

I know the dead man's volley move is a ganon staple, but I'm left wondering if players would actually play this little mini game in a serious match. Wouldn't it be better to just dodge it and punish ganondorf if he hasn't recovered from throwing the fireball yet?

Depends if he has excess recovery or not I guess.

Think of it like Mewtwo's Shadow Ball, but anyone can reflect it. There's dodging it, blocking it, using a reflector, or just hitting it back at Ganondorf.

It would be a very unique move, and there will be different strategies devised around it. Agile characters like Sheik can maneuver around it, but someone like Bowser or DDD may have an easier time just slapping it away.

Edit: I don't think I'd have Ganondorf able to save a charge though. Having a shotgun blast of 5 energy balls in your pocket sounds like it's overkill.

Hoyl shit, watched TPP Black's finale, and I realized how much better of a stage Pokemon Black and White's E4 + N's Castle with this music would've been compared to X and Y's E4

And topped off with both dragons fighting at the place at the top

Giant Chasm and Kyurem fusions would be amazing too

About damn time! :D

Oh thank God, he's alive.

Wonder how Mii Fighter's gonna turn out; maybe just a blank face.

That would probably be the worst thread on Gaming Side lol.

To start, the entitlement will discourage any good discussion, and then people will get their feelings hurt. The most infinitesimal things will turn into 3 page arguments, and people will get banned over it. Best bet is to let it run it's course and hope Smash 4 is the shiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiit.
This thread really is a shitheap.

Yeah, I see what you're saying. I was thinking about those possibilities after I posted. It could probably be more hectic in a 4-player battle if the fireball is homing and whoever hit it is tied to them so if another player hit it other than Ganondorf, it'd home in on the other player who hit it first.

But then... what's the incentive for the Ganondorf player to actually use it in the first place? It seems like more risk than it's worth.

Still pluggin' away

Heh, these past 3 weeks I just thought Nikki was an amazing mk8 player. Saw the mii on that picture and was like wow, she's pretty famous. Look it up now and she's the swapnote mascot and it was just somebody using her Mii. :\

She deserves to be utilized better after they "shut down" Swapnote.

Well she's kinda the swapnote mascot.

She was just the woman who handled the swapnote updates sent out by Nintendo and that was her Mii.

Can't say I like the idea of a flying stage for Xenoblade. Really feels like we've got more than enough already. Also feels like the least interesting way of utilizing a game world for a stage, since it's like placing a pretty standard platform unrelated to the rest of the environment otherwise over a moving background.

Does it really matter if any stage is fighting on a platform?
