Then more awesome music plays, and gameplay of Shulk is shown.

This is funny, but I see something along the lines of seeing Marth, Ike, and maybe even Meta Knight (veteran reveal and a nod to Brawl" fighting at the Coliseum when Shulk arrives in the scene. Kinda sorta like the Greninja trailer.

Man I am enjoying Xenoblade so much...each time I fully explore a map I feel good. Then I go on to the next new area and check the map for icons and im like "The game is REALLY that big....." I just made it to the mines in Colony 6 close to level 30 withing 20 hours (im doing all the side quests I can before moving on with story).

I Just hope when if when shulk is revealed, the trailer doesn't spoil much of Xenoblade.

They could have just had the trailer stream on the site and be shown at EVO at the same time. There's no real fanfare to it just appearing on the site at 3pm, it's just not as fun to be a part of the reveal.

It's like the MKX Raiden reveal, it's made more fun just because you're seeing it for the first time with a bunch of other people that are fans of the series.

I see no problem in showing a trailer in front of a bunch of dedicated fans to the series and fans of the genre in general, especially now that NoA are trying to reach out to the competitive audience a bit more. But, again, it's Sakurai so.


I mean it's not as if showing it at EVO would immediately cut the announcement off from everyone else or something.

But I thought the competitive scene doesn't like Smash 4

I just had an idea. Why not allow Link to set bombs on the stage? I know he can do it as a glitch but what about intentionally? He can do it in Zelda games anyway. Link has always been bad but this is really simple and could really help. Edgeguarding, traps, and combos would all be MUCH better. Thoughts?

As much as I adore my Smash, watching it at Evo fills me with a profound feeling of inadequacy. My malformed hands and fingers could never dream of playing Melee that well. At least I can watch.
