I wonder if some of the R.O.B. hate comes from how heavily he was focused on in the SSE. I think he adds great variety to the roster, but he had some sort of odd spotlight on him in Brawl. Think people would've been more acceptive of him if he just kind of sneaked in like G&W.

There is no ROB hate, just those that haven't come to terms with their deep, pulsating love for him.

Guys, I found the perfect Metroid Rep!

Joey Apronika!

Joey Apronika is a character from the manga series Samus and Joey. He lives on the frontier planet Liberty with his grandfathers and a small community. His father is dead and he wishes to train with Samus Aran after she saved him from a Space Pirate raid, so he can protect his remaining family. Joey has 3 concealed wheels in each of his shoes that allow him to move and turn at high velocity, as well as climbing spikes that can project from the front of them.

I'm curious what's wrong with Miis in your opinion. I was actually impressed when they showed Miis, but maybe that's because I like being able to customize things, and that's what they're all about.

It's an old manga called Wanpakku, they're basically strategy guides but they're set-up like a manga.

In the Metroid one, they NEVER spoil the reveal. I imagine they probably didn't tell the manga-ka either, so he probably thought Samus was a guy the whole time.

An even easier way to defeat him is with the Ice Beam. Freeze the projectiles and he won't even shoot anymore until they dissipate, so he's left vulnerable.
