I have no problem with the silly 30 year bet being reduced to 30 days or even just 2/3 weeks, but not taking at least some kind of changed avatar for the lost bet is just classless

If you want to avatar bet for added fun, the rules are as follows:
  • Pick a day, japan time (right now, it's Tuesday ~12PM), so Tue, Wed, Thur, Fri - saturday is too late (It's out!!)
  • If the game leaks on your day, you win, and get to help in assigning avatars for everyone else.
  • If the game leaks and it's NOT your day (you choose Tue, it leaks Thur), then AS SOON AS IT LEAKS (not sooner, so if you choose tue, and it leaks thur, you don't lose until it leaks on thur), you lose your avatar.
  • If the game DOES NOT LEAK (releases sat) nobody wins or loses.
  • You wear the new avatar until ONE WEEK FROM THE LEAK DAY.

With really good fucking music. I need to figure out who the composers are, cause it's pretty top tier. Lots of variety. And a surprisingly good amount of poppy/punk/rock socks. tons of energy, and the backing band is a bunch of fucking shredders. I just view Hatsune Miku's vocals as a synth. But in all seriousness, Her character would totally fit in smash and be pretty funny.

Also, I'd love if DHD's alt colors referenced other Nintendo dogs, like that one from Chibi-Robo, and Poochie (the Yoshi one).

Exactly! He's like that character that you always joked would be fun to see, but never actually would see happen because he's basically completely ignored by Nintendo. I still can't quite believe he's there haha.

The Shin Budokai games are fantastic. I think Infinite World is the best of the Dimps games, but a lot of what made that game great was derived from the Shin Budokai titles.

I believe it leaked two or so days before release. At least, that's when pics and video from people that had their hands on the game were coming out. By the the time the actual release date was known, practically everything about the game as far as content was concerned was known.

there are tons, the last one was just songs that fans voted on and Sega tried to make deals for them...some great stuff.

I can't take another avatar this week though, because if I lost I wouldn't be able to accept my punishment since I'm about to lose two bets this week already (FUCKING KOOPALINGS, FUCK YOUR BLAND ASSES FUCKERS, NOBODY OTHER THAN MY NEPHEW LIKES YOU ANYWAY), maybe in time for the NA release

Miku is a voicebank program by Crypton Soft for the Vocaloid program made by Yamaha. Basically people create songs using her voicebank and share it on the web while MMD is a program that people can make music vids for easily at an amateur level.

She has a line of 3DS rhythm games.

You can still add yourself to the prediction list, no consequence.
 
I hate the anime waifu mentality that makes people "scared" of Miku or puts them off of looking into the games. Miku is literally just the star of a series of super-fun rhythm games with awesome music. Nothing more, nothing less.

All the creepy waifu shit is just added onto that by weird people on the Internet, and of course Rule 34 applies to her just like it does everything else on the Internet. But at her core, Miku is just a super-cool character in a fun rhythm game series.

Andre and Derrick actually do make money from GX; for various reasons, though, they told me up front that they wouldn't be able to add me onto the GX payroll yet, and I was fine with that because I have other gigs that pay the bills (as described). GX has ended up paying off for me in a big way anyway, though; not in money, but in Twitter/Instagram followers and general Internet notoriety/"respect." I'm far more visible on the Internet now than I was before I joined GX, and I just have a ton of fun working with Andre, Derrick, and Tom. It's worth it for that reason alone and I'm able to keep it up without it encroaching upon my jobs that pay the bills.
 
Is this game gonna have 24 player mode? It should. It looks fun.

Ok, it actually doesn't look that fun for any one player. Just wanted an excuse to post this.
