Holy cow that looks gorgeous! I hope they take Miis off your machine and dot them all over Wuhu like in other games. But then I wonder how close you actually get to Wuhu to where you could make out specific Miis.

Maybe instead of jumping to the yellow plane, the red plane zooms off and automatically drops you, and at the same time the camera quickly flips to the back of the yellow plane, kinda like the Orpheon or Spear Pillar stage gimmicks.

SSB Wuhu looks pretty nice, I like the geometric detail on Maka Wuhu, and the smooth lighting overall.

Basically it confirmed what we already know pretty much. Release date is still 2014 so they said that Mario Kart 8 would release somewhen in Spring 2014, but not Smash.

Interesting. June aside, it seems we get 2 stage reveals and 1 character reveal a month. Although too early to say if there's a pattern since it's been only a few months and there's likely no pattern to begin with. Interesting, still!
I wonder how many people thought Ridley and Wolf were gonna be playable characters for Melee since they were in the introduction video and shown at E3 2001, you know, before we knew otherwise. Lol
Also, after watching the Brawl reveal again, and seeing the cheers for Snake, I really hope he comes back along with Sonic
and newcomer Bomberman!

Well duh, that sort of goes without saying. But considering it gives a date as soon as next Tuesday (and Palutena mid-way through next month), I felt it was worth posting for kicks either way.
I'd argue Yoshi being held back to coincide with Good-Feel's game or Yoshi's New Island would make sense however; keep a few well-known and obvious veterans back to have pad out their appearances into the next year. Bowser and Pit were probably shown off before him since they've been significantly changed from their previous appearances I guess?

Not-so-personal-theory; Pilotwings stage is a Mii-rep stage, Probably-a-Punch-Out!! stage is Mac's stage and Pac-Man is either going to be a TGS deal or shown off at E3 next year. Assuming that leak's accurate, but I don't see how you could remotely guess Wii Fit Trainer otherwise, along with getting the other two dead-on.
Didn't Brawl reveal a few franchise-specific stages before their relevant character reps were shown off? Castle Siege a year before Ike was revealed*, Yoshi's Island before Yoshi... Of course there's been opposite scenarios were Smashville got shown off and people took it to mean either villager or Tom Nook was going to be playable.
*which had the Black Knight in the background at one point so you could argue it was more Ike's stage than Marth's.
